Critical Strike Every Time On This Weird Glitched Farm (WOTLK Classic) (Patreon)

This article is about an unusual farm with an unintended glitch which allows melee characters to farm super-fast, though it is a good general farm for all classes.

In Uninstanced Wintergrasp (don't go there during a battle, the NPC's will not be there) is a location in the far south-west of the zone called "The Steppe Of Life". This is a flat green area full of carnivorous flowers called "Living" and "Mature" Lashers. 

The main reason to farm these mobs is to get "Crystallized life"-10 of which can be turned into an "Eternal Life" which sells for about 14 gold currently across all realms. This is a very easy farm-the lashers do not aggro easily and are trivial to kill at 80.

What is really interesting about this farm though is that the lashers are dormant until you aggro them. They leap up out of the ground when you walk across them or attack them. The coding Blizzard have used here is really weird. The lashers are "sitting" - which means that a physical critical strike is 100% certain on the initial attack. 

This makes it a very good farm for melee classes, especially those without good aoe abilities.
