Transform Roleplay Item (WOTLK), Impractical Dupe (Patreon)

This one is mainly for theorycrafters but is interesting nonetheless. Technically this is a dupe but not a practical monetizable one currently. (EDIT: Perhaps not, I just saw that someone is attempting to sell glasses of aged dalaran wine at a premium.)

The items "Bottle of Dalaran red"

and "Cask of Dalaran red"

are roleplay items which when used put a bottle or cask of wine on the ground which players can click on and get small quantities of wine to drink.

If you wrap these items in your inventory at the same you put them down on the ground (they have a cast time) they change into "aged" versions of the same item. You can loot the bottle or cask you have put down and sell the wine for small quantities of silver.

If you repeat the process with the "Aged" version of the wine, it will then transform into a "Peaked" version of the same item. The Peaked version sadly is not vulnerable to the same wrapping paper technique, it simply vanishes from your inventory if you put it down, so you can't create infinite wine.

You can get rather more wine that normal from using this method and you can  have a unique item which is otherwise impossible to obtain in the game. (The Peaked Dalaran wine normally requires a year of maturation to come into existence) 

Collectors do value rare items like this when considering account sales. Additionally see update above: the glasses of wine these items produce can be sold on the auction house at a premium. 

However, the main reason I'm posting this is to give the theorycrafters here a lead to work on a potentially workable dupe.
