Wear Multiple Legendaries (Hotfixed) (Patreon)

Now confirmed Fixed. Left up for theorycrafters.

This is a preliminary article which means I have received credible information about an exploit but have not yet tested it personally as I would normally. I'm sharing this now because an exploit of this gravity will not last long. 

Over the weekend* several patreons were kind enough to share information about an exploit involving the wearing of multiple legendaries. A patreon who wishes to remain anonymous summarized the exploit:

Not sure if you're aware of this one, but it's a bug that I assumed was fixed on the PTR when it was reported. If you equip a runecarving piece of gear and craft unity onto it, you can equip your entire character out with 291 legendaries (all unity less one for the shadowlands limit). Effects do not stack.

UPDATE: Tested and working as of 2.36 PM GMT.

This is NOT something you should rush, read the instructions in italics carefully or you may unintentionally waste currenciy on this. 

This works with ALL ilvls, I would recommend testing this by creating a 190 ilvl legendary first to avoid any problems before upgrading a 291 piece. 

There is a higher probability of bans being issued for use of this exploit than would normally be the case for anything I would post here. 

EDIT:  Effects revert on log-out. The exploit is still active as of 12:31 am GMT 20 April.

*Normally I would be on this as soon as I received the information.  I needed to visit my Mother last week. who is recently out of hospital, and ensure her well-being. I have taken steps to insure that I do not miss things like this in future.
