Gravity Lapse Glitches (Patreon)

The Gravity Lapse brawl is currently active.

There is a simple way to get a significant advantage at this brawl. Create a simple 

/logout 

macro. Whenever you are about to get thrown into the air activate the macro and once you see others fly into the air, cancel it. This stops the anti-gravity effect: you will not be thrown into the air.*

I am normally able to use this macro at the start of the battleground and get a free flag cap. It can be used later in the game but only when you are not in combat. 

A free flag cap is usually decisive in any reasonably evenly matched battle. 

For those who like to really push these things:

I found an alternative strategy from this twitch streamer here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1189161274 . Essentially you hide under a rock near the flag and use some movement ability to reach the flag instantly after the anti-gravity effect. This is more powerful than it looks at first glance as it enables repeated flag caps in combat. You can use this with my logout macro strategy - my method is more powerful at the start and out of combat - this works better with multiple players competing for the flag. 

* This cancels all knockback type effects. You can often use this trick to glitch things generally.
