World Quest Item Destroys Elites With Full Experience, Level 50-60 (Patreon)

The world quest item "Wingpierce Javelin" offered for the Bastion world quest "History Of Corruption" greatly weakens the elite mobs "Corrupted Cloudfeather". These can be killed in seconds using the javelin and award just under 2000 experience. You can kill up to 4 in a minute with practice which yields roughly the same experience as a quest. 

You can see when you do the quest that Blizzard did not take into account the possibility of flight that arrived in 9.1 when they designed the quest. This makes the cloudfeather mobs much more accessible-your mount sticks out awkwardly from the Kyrian disguise you are put into when you enter the quest phase. 

If you want to push the envelope with experience you can try combining the world quest with the normal quest chain which begins with "Agthia's Memory". This leads you into the same phased area as history of corruption, and allows you to recruit wounded Kyrian allies and pick up spears with a powerful area of effect attack.

I would recommend an ilvl of at least 90 whilst doing this quest.
