The quest "Rubble Rummaging" can be received by completing its pre-requisite "A Rousing Aroma" in north-western Revendreth. This seems to be only available during "Threads Of Fate" leveling.

On this quest you are meant to search through piles of rubble for a key. Mostly you do not find the key and instead have an "ember worm" mob attack you. You can click on a pile of rubble multiple times and create infinite ember worms. Turn auto-loot off to do this as if you loot the actual rubble pile it will stop spawning mobs.

The worm mobs award full experience. (This is unusual, most player-spawned mobs do not).

The worms drop trash items, phantasmal haunches and shadowy shanks. The mobs can be skinned also. They also drop bind on equip items if you farm them long enough. Again this is unusual for any mob which can be spawned by player actions.

Players with good gear and/or aoe abilities can farm the worms very fast, especially in a team. The amount of experience a team can get should be significantly greater than any Blizzard-approved leveling approach, for skilled players.

There is a very similar exploit nearby, the treasure item "smuggled cache" spawns a "blistered hoarder" every time it is opened. You can open the cache endlessly and spawn infinite hoarders. The blistered hoarders do not drop loot, however they award rather more experience than the ember worms, but do more damage and are harder to kill. They can also only be spawned one at a time unlike the ember worms.

EDIT: no longer awards xp.

Just a warning to anyone that does hyperspawn farming, it is the number one way to get banned for exploiting. I'm not saying don't do this, I'm simply stating that if you do, do not go insane and spawn hundreds per minute. They label you as a bot and close your account, you will spend a lot of time trying to get your account back.

For anyone's who's tried it, what's the GPH like for this? Or is it mainly for leveling

Archvaldors Warcraft Hacks Premium

I dislike GPH because it is too easy to manufacture stupid numbers based on stuff which hardly ever sells. For this farm the main drops phantasmal haunches and shadowy shanks don't sell for much on most realms so I'd do this mainly for leveling with any boe drops as a bonus.

Is there a way to automate right button clicks? Does WoW detect auto clickers easily?

Archvaldors Warcraft Hacks Premium

You can download a free auto-clicker or mouse recorder from the web. Unfortunately there is no real way to tell how good blizzard is at detecting this stuff. Certain bans I received personally were highly correlated with some simple experiments I did with clickers, but it could have just been coincidence. The out-of-control bot situation does suggest that to the contrary Blizzard don't have a very good detection algorithm. For now my generic advice is to use a burner account for any kind of automation.

Just tried doing this and experience not going up upon killing them, think it was patched
