The pre-patch for Burning Crusade Content is expected to go live in the next few months..

I plan to cover Burning Crusade content.

During the launch of classic there was some controversy on this patreon with many players appreciating the content, but also a significant minority opposed to me writing anything that was not to do with retail.

This was a difficult issue to resolve. On the one hand more people were playing Classic than retail. On the other pro-retail patreons argued they had signed up specifically for that content. I found both points of view reasonable.

I think there should be less controversy this time for the following reasons:

1. Burning Crusade will take considerably less time for me to play as I will already have level  60 characters.

2. If I need new characters I can buy them. The first thing I spend patreon sub money on is things which enable me to find more content for patreons.

3. BC content is much more familiar to me since the content has remained on retail since launch.

4. Both I and other exploiters found significantly less content on Vanilla Classic than retail. The earlier versions of the game are much simpler and have less of the complexity and competing incompatible systems that create useful exploits. Additionally, Blizzard fixed a lot of major bugs the first time round.

I would expect, as with Vanilla, that the total number of exploits that are discovered will decline over the life of the expansion.

If I DO find any difficulty in keeping up with both versions of the game I may hire someone to help out, but I am not anticipating having to do that at this time.

That said I always value Patreon feedback, and I will read any comments in response to this article or sent privately to me carefully.
