Summary - Mages can spellsteal the corruption affix echoing void  in duels with friendly players , then equip an item with the affix themselves and unleash very large aoe damage .

The corruption affix, echoing void, can be spellstolen.

The void acts as a stacking buff, normally stacks are built by by putting the affix on an equipped item and doing damage or healing. There is a chance that it is activated with every spell or ability, when it will count down the number of stacks built to 0 doing a % of the player's health each time in area of effect damage-depending on the rank of the corruption affix.

Mages however can build infinite stacks from other players with the affix, for example by duelling friendly players. An equipped item with the affix has to be used to actually trigger the spell which causes the stacks to collapse. So a mage can spellsteal stacks continuously from other players without triggering the countdown. When they have built up enough stacks, change an item of equipped gear for an item with the corruption affix, doing a massive amount of aoe damage.

The max stack is 100.
