Claim Heroic Boss Loot Infinitely (Hunter Required) (Patreon)

The boss Anzu, in Sethekk Halls, Auchindoun, located in Outland, currently has a major glitch. The boss can be tamed-however this results in the game thinking the boss has been killed and sending you loot in the mail. You can simply tame Anzu, abandon him, tame him again and repeat endlessly. Be very careful not kill Anzu accidentally which will lock you out for 24 hours-I strongly suggest dismissing your pet before you enter the instance and un-equipping your weapon.

Dapper Fox has kindly added the following macros to do this quickly: 

 /script PetAbandon() 

 /tar anzu  

/cast tame beast 

(Anzu ONLY appears in the heroic version of the dungeon).

For reasons unknown not every tame seems to result in loot being sent. I seem to be getting 30-40% of my tames producing appropriate loot.

Aside from raw gold, Anzu is famous for dropping a mount-which normally is hard to acquire since it is usually subject to once a day lockout.

The status of this exploit is preliminary, meaning this article will be updated in the near future. 

EDIT: I tried again, this time being sure to leave a few seconds between dismissing pet Anzu after boss Anzu had re-spawned. This meant I got loot for every tame I performed, ie 100% of the time. I also got the mount confirming this can drop from glitched loot. 

The raw gold appears to be in the 10-11K range-this is good for raw gold.

EDIT: Tried this with 114 toon, only worked once, I'm tending towards Tobias's one-shot theory currently (see comments below) because of this. This has been working very successfully for me on a 120: I do not recommend trying this on a sub-120 character.
