This month has seen a large number of contributions from Patreons all of which were fascinating to me and some are invaluable. Here are the ones I've tested enough to release here:

Ingenious Gold Farming Method 30K+ Gold Per Hour, Requires Many Alts

PIP wrote:

Hi, I have an idea for a pretty decent raw gold farm (i think/hope), it's based on a comment on one of your leveling exploits (by patreon Arektor)*, talking about using an alt to share the 7 explorers quests in Loch Modan, to your main for easy free XP every 24 hours.

But when you are Level 120 of course you get gold and a chance to get the chests which drop items you can sell. When you complete the 7 quests and sell the items, you get from my small data sample (around 15 uses) an average of 280g.

Now i've been able to cut down the time to 30 sec, that  is 10 sec loading and 20 sec logout while sharing and completing, which is 280 g = 30 sec, 560g = 1 min, and 33.600g = 1 hour, (hope the math is correct) and if you do this on 50 alts every 24 hours it should be decent gold i think, around (14k a day).. hope this is interesting and not a stupid idea.^^

I just wanna say that getting the time down to 30 - 35 sec is by using auto-hotkey, macros and auto accept, if you just right click the quest press share, click accept etc, it's gonna slow down the process a lot I would think.

*Here is Patreon Arektor's original comment:

To add on the explorer's league document quests (in Loch Modan), what I've been doing for the past few months for leveling without any effort is having the 6 quests on a level 20 trial account, getting my leveling toon at loch, grouping, syncing then sharing the quests, turn them in + the follow up, and boom, free level every day. Kinda slow in real time, but once you have the setup, it's just free daily exp.

Archvaldor comment: This is an extremely effective way to make raw gold. The main drawback is the number of alts required to make significant gold plus the cost of parking them in a specific location.

Extremely Good Cataclysm Farm

Really small youtuber, made a video about instant force re-spawn Horde only, its pretty powerful as you can use Pot of treasure finding

Archvaldor comment: This is a really good instant re-spawn farm. Many people have asked me for a replacement for the stone lion farm I found in January-the truth is that was a bit special. However, this farm is just as good, albeit for cataclysm content. Normally I do not link to other people's content and only use my own content and that of patreons, but I make exceptions for extremely valuable information which patreons are unlikely to find themselves.

Ingenious XP Grinding Exploit In Hillsbrad Foothills

ROEBUTS wrote:

I think I found a Exp grinding exploit in hillsbrad foothills. If you get the quest Studies and lethality you get a lethality analyzer that kills

the slimes around the area near instantly there is a limiter on them that is you kill with the analyzer only you get 2exp but I found that if  I tag the

enemy with and attack first I am getting 600-700exp a kill right now with winds of wisdom and partial heirlooms you could even be able to get that higher

probably and the mobs respawn in around 30 seconds. You may have already known this though. Just thought is was interesting.

Archvaldor comment: This is a very interesting trick. The quest item has a long cast time (6 seconds) so this is useful mainly for players do not have heirlooms-for example when leveling a character on a burner account, since full looms can generally kill faster than that. That said if you do not have full looms this is a very powerful xp grinding technique, especially when combined with the Johnny Awesome/Apothecary Lydon glitch most of you will know from my public leveling videos.

Corruption Gear Trade Method

ANONYMOUS wrote:

Currently there is an exploit wherein you can trade a piece of corruption gear to someone else. Takes a bit of setup:

Alt/willing person to give up echoes buys the corruption you want from the vendor. They then enter into a mythic+ key with you.

At the end of the dungeon, if they get a drop that is beneficial for you and can be traded to you, they can corrupt the item and STILL trade it to you.

Thus saving you from spending n amount of echoes. Expect this to be patched pretty soon.

Warmode In Classic

Warmode in Classic yes it does exist!

How to create a Wargame

1. Two groups need to be formed, with a minimum of 5 for Warsong Gulch. Each group's faction does not matter.

2. Both group leaders need to have each other on Battle.net Friends list.

3. One group leader should use the command /wargame [battle.net ID here] warsong to send a challenge to the other group. For example, if my battle.net ID is set to "rokman" you would type "/wargame rokman warsong" to challenge my group to a match. You don't need the #1234 at the end of a battle.net tag to send a challenge.

4. Both groups should receive a queue that pops almost instantly and then you are in the match!

How to create a Wargame with spectators

1. Three groups need to be formed, with a minimum of 5 for Warsong Gulch. Each group's faction does not matter. The third group is the spectator group. The spectator group doesn't require a group for the functionality to work, a single spectator can join, if they wish.

2. All group leaders need to have each other on Battle.net Friends list.

3. The leader of the spectator group will use the command /invitespectatormatch [group1 Battle.net ID] [group2 Battle.net ID] 0 warsong to send a challenge to both groups. For example, if you were trying to setup a spectator match between myself and yesmasterx, you would type "/invitespectatormatch rokman yesmaster 0 warsong" to invite both groups to join your match. Spectators can not be added to a match once it has started.

4. All three groups should receive a queue that pops almost instantly and then you are in the match!

5. Players in the spectator group will gain access to a new keybind panel called "Commentator", allowing them to setup keybinds for camera settings.

Archvaldor comment: Whether you find this interesting very much depends on whether you actively search for exploits yourself. For those who do-this is gamebreaking invaluable information for testing purposes.

Speed Leveling Method For WoW Classic 1-20

 Peanutcheese wrote:

Hello Archvaldor, yet another "exploit". My guild has been boosting a lot of warlocks to 20 for our summoning teams. There is currently no known good boosting method. Fortunately, we got sick of leveling our warlocks 1-10 by hand before they could be boosted in Deadmines. The Ironforge Airstrip has a cave where TONS of low level trolls spawn. For a boosting mage it is especially easy to get up there, if you want to publish a small guide on it I'll happily work with you to make it retard-proof. It's most efficient to kill llike 30 mobs in the starting zone so you get level 3 and then run to the spot on the boosted chars, but level 1 is fine too. It's much more efficient with more (up to 4) boostees participating. The boostees will stand on a tree behind the ranch where a Dwarf can buy his ram mount, SUPER easy to get to. The mage up top will be spamming rank 1 Arcane Explosion to murder the mobs, sustaining mana through Clearcasting procs AND the "Magic Absorption" talent. The mobs cast Faerie Fire which is easily resisted by a 60 mage and thus through that talent returns mana. In addition to that, you can have one of the boostees go up to the airfield (through the Loch Modan route, which I can showcase if you don't know it) and duel the boosting mage. The boostee will then commence casting low rank spells on the mage to trigger more Magic Absorption mana refunds.

  1. During testing we found the longest any level would take is up to about 40 minutes for level 9 to 10, consider you will be boosting guildies' summoners too and suddenly it's MUCH MUCH more efficient time-wise and effort-wise than leveling those characters 1-10 by hand individually, which takes a couple hours in classic.
  2. This particular spot was probably covered in your post about infinite respawns, but this application of boosting a party of 4 levels 1 to 10 in a matter of hours, especially with the knowledge of a spot that is in xp range and not as hard to get up to as the airport itself, is something new. The reason you want to bring more low levels rather than less, to make it more efficient for all participants, is because when calculating xp in a group the game takes the average level of the party, so adding a level 1 to a group that has a level 60 in it drags down the average level a lot and makes the farm more efficient.
  3.  This tree is where the boosted characters stand. If you use this picture in a post please blur the names.

Later, Peanutcheese sent me this:

Hello Archvaldor, I don't know if you're still interested in this but about the level 1-10 (reality: 3-10) infinite respawn/boosting area; you can significantly increase the XP per hour there not via an exploit but a certain combat technique. One of the packs you are grinding in that location has a different respawn timer than the other spots in front of the cave. So when you are gathering mobs, if this pack is in your group of mobs you want to immediately kill it instead of using it to have it cast at you for mana or just having it idle around you until you gathered more. This increased the xp per hour from 9k to about 10k which is huge. All the best, Peanutcheese.

Archvaldor comment: This fills a black hole in the classic speed-leveling process and is a major contribution to optimized leveling even the best speed levelers don't seem to be aware of.

A comment on Patreon contributions

Btw If you sent me an exploit and I didn't use it please don't  assume I wasn't interested. People often write things like "I'm not sure if you will want to use this...." the truth is it is always interesting to me. I literally can't remember any one sending me anything truly useless or unworkable. There are several reasons why I may not use something you tell me immediately-in fact the very best exploits I am reluctant to publish quickly because I want to explore everything about them properly.

I am very grateful for all contributions, whether I use them or not.
