Over this month I've received some fascinating contributions from Patreons which I thought I would assemble into one post:

WoW Classic: Rgaming Herb Farming Quest Glitch

"Rgaming" sent me this interesting WoW Classic trick allowing Horde non-herbalists to effectively herb whilst simultaneously doing what is quite a good farm in its own right by repeatedly abandoning a glitched quest.

Rgaming has gone to the trouble of making a video of his method at : youtu.be/uhZGzFQ9LpU and explains exactly how this works visually.

After making the video Rgaming discovered that

I have since turned in the quest after getting a few more days of farming out of it and it seems , that after turn in you are not able to aquire the items anymore, so the person farming will have to hold on to quest in log

Rgaming's glitch allows the player to switch effortlessly to farming certain herbs without leveling additional toons or dropping other professions, allowing the player to respond to fluctuations in demand for items on the auction house effortlessly and potentially make a lot of gold.

WoW Retail: Darth Sweeney Super-Powered Leveling Glitch

Darth Sweeney has developed the party sync exploit I originally posted here:

 https://www.patreon.com/posts/30493868

which goes into some detail about how broken and exploitable party sync is. However, I hadn't at that time developed any one-shot methods, which Darth has with the following ingenious technique:

I found a use for this. Star unsynced with a high level elemental shaman, drop a Liquid Magma Totem and immediately hit Party Sync and pull a pack of mobs.

They'll get AoE one-shotted by the totem. Only lasts 15 secs tho and a 1 minute cooldown. It's clunky and awkward to multibox it but it can take out melee bosses.

I've two-manned stockades ok, the only problem boss is Randolph Moloch as he stops to do some RP before charging in.

(further insight from Darth can be found in the comments section on the original post).

This may well be the fastest known leveling method in wow retail currently. The basic premise can be used in other dungeons.

WoW Classic, Ventuviper Instant Respawn Farm

Ventuviper sent me this great low-level farming spot:

Found another hyper spawn point in Westfall.  Crabs along the coast are tested several times as being hyper spawning.  I don't have exact coordinates at this time, but I grinded them this morning on my mage with my wife's lower character and they kept respawning.  Ended up getting close to 200 clam meat 15 pearls and several greens in about45mins.  Only thing slowed me down was my mana.

I tested this and I think Ventuviper means the Sea Crawlers at 33,21 (northwest coast). I had similar results to him farming this area.

Belekai PTR character checking method

This method is niche but very useful if you look for exploits actively and get banned a lot (like me). I managed to find some old vanilla items on a banned character that are worth a fortune using it. Belekai sent me this find:

Heya Bud. So I've been mooching around the PTR looking for any upcoming exploits today and I discovered something really interesting. Over the last 10 years I've been banned from wow twice, each time i just signed up again and re-bought the expansion. So on my login screen, i have the option of WOW1, WOW2 and WOW3 when logggin in.   WOW3 being the one I currently play on. Both times I got banned I never re-activated the previous ones. As a result, all my achievements, gold and items were trapped on those accounts.

After a certain time the accounts got re-instated, but I just never bought gametime for them again. So WOW1 and WOW2 are innactive.  Its been so long since I played them, I have no idea what items I have, or even how much gold i have on them. As they are inactive I cannot view them on the armoury to see.  While messing around on the PTR, I decided to copy a character from my retail account. To my surprise, the list of characters available to transfer included all my toons from the old banned/inactive accounts. It let me copy them over with no problem.  I could log into each of them, check the gold, bank and bags for items.  I'm not sure if this is know, or even if its intended, but if you have an inactive account linked to your BNET, you can copy the toon and check everything :)

While I take full responsibility for finding and publishing the exploits on this patreon, I am extremely grateful to everyone who contributes, regardless of whether or not I actually publish the method.
