World PVP Item: High AOE Damage (Patreon)

 A Patreon, who wishes to remain anonymous, contributed the following interesting information about a world pvp item:

"At the naga world quests introduced in 8.1.5 there are world items called Darktide orbs. Those orbs are intended to be used on the NPCs around the naga world quests as a special ability to make killing big packs of naga easier, as they do a big chunk of damage (60-120k AoE to every target, not spread across)  They can also hurt players though, and damage can be modified from damage increasing abilities, and can crit. You can also be summoned anywhere on Kul Tiras or Zandalar within the 1 minute timer that you can hold one for, which is very interesting for war mode 1 shot macros if you're using it to the maximum potential on certain classes. "
