This method requires the player to first reach level 20 (perhaps by killing murlocs in Goldshire). It then requires the player to complete the Bravo Zero quest line in Redridge Mountains up to the quest "Showdown At Stonewatch".

This quest awards the player a number of elite npc's who also powerfully buff the player. Unlike other similar exploits, you do not need to glitch the mobs out of their intended zone.

(It is worth mentioning here that I did once manage to get one of the elites, John J Keeshan, out of Redridge Mountains, probably because of a cache clear on the border with Redridge, however that exploit is difficult to replicate).

You are permitted to take the elites anywhere in Redridge Mountains, not just the quest sub-zone, as is often the case with this type of quest. Go to 35,60 and you will see a camp of gnolls. These respawn instantly when killed. Using the elite npc's you can kill these gnolls mostly afk, of course the key word here is "mostly", since every 5 minutes or so the npc's despawn mysteriously and then respawn when you leave combat.

Active play will generally get faster results, it is possible to get an average of around 3 levels per hour unrested-this is the fastest known method of mob grinding for xp. This is very effective with the 200% bonus from rested xp so is suitable for people who may only play on their levelling character for short periods (always put the character in the Redridge inn when you've finished). It can also be combined with queing for LFD effectively.

The speed of this method is somewhat dependent on gear and player skill-small optimizations make a big difference. I'm still developing macros to optimize my farming on different classes and it may be possible to increase levelling speed over and above that indicated above.

The location is next to the spawn point of a rare mob called "Snarlflare". a dragon. You should priortize Snarlflare when he spawns as he awards a lot of XP.
