Far sight/Eagle eye/roguestones have a bizarre glitch. I was recently testing them with the "new" (actually introduced in patch 7.1) macro commands. These include self-targetting and cursor targetting functions for target reticule spells. Target reticule spells are things like heroic leap and flamestrike where you get a big green circle and point at the thing you want to destroy.

I tried the command:

/use [@cursor] far sight

something very weird happened whenI used this macro and the cursor was pointing at nothing in the sky. I was standing on top of one of the statues on the altar of storms in Blasted Lands. I was suddenly looking at Silverpine Forest in the far north of the Eastern Kingdoms.

Nothing had spawned there. It was an empty forest.

It seems that when you target thin air using the cursor macro far sight bugs out and returns a default value which sends the far sight spell to 0,0,0 on the map. It is fun to go into dungeons and other places and look at locations which are out of bounds and often impossible to reach even with exploits.

This glitch has no obvious use (though it is fun!), I wouldn't normally post it: however, the broken interaction between the @cursor command and the spell very likely applies to other spells, abilities or items, so this may be significant when trying to find other glitches in reticule-based spells.
