"Duping" Unique Lunar Festival Item, Sells For 1K on AH (Patreon)

A method is explained how to bypass unique item restrictions on the lunar festival item "Elune's Candle", allowing the player to create infinite candles and a stream of AH gold over time.

The item "Elune's Candle" purchasable for 10 silver from the Lunar festival Moonglade vendor Valadar Starsong  (location:- http://www.wowhead.com/npc=15864/valadar-starsong)  . This item is unique, ie it is restricted to one per character.  This is a kind of firework launcher with 88 charges.  

Since this item is only available during the Lunar Festival, and players only have access to one item, the average price sold over all realms is over 1100 gold, a lot for a vanity item, indeed I've seen bizarre valuations of 29000 gold or more (probably not in any way realistic IMHO). 

To "dupe" the item, simply use the mailbox in the hut in the walkway leading to the vendor, to send multiple candles to an another character (or characters) on your account. Once you've mailed a candle you can purchase another one. The alt can sell them one at a time. The alt can have multiple candles in their mail at one time, though only one can be handled. Once put on the auction house another can be taken for mail.

Using this trick you can put up a candle on the AH every time you sell anything and amounts to a steady stream of free gold over the year.

You can do rather better than 1K if you sell on PVE or roleplay realms where the items tend to sell better, also the later in the year you leave it the more scarcity value will push the price up.
