Elixir Of Giant Growth Glitch In BG's (Patreon)

There is a very common exploit explorers and exploiters have been using since Vanilla. It is so common I have never mentioned it, even on youtube or publicly, because so many people have covered it already. However, it is a very useful and often powerful exploit. 

In case you didn't know the technique simply involves standing under a thin barrier such as a thin roof and taking the elixir, then you log-out. When you log back, if the barrier is thin enough, you will actually go through the physical barrier-this is a classic method of going outside the confines of instances. The technique was until Legion used quite commonly in Legion in battlegrounds to get on top of buildings giving ranged classes a huge advantage. However, this ended when the elixir among many other items was nerfed. 

I just discovered a workaround: use the elixir before the bg starts. Also use a shrink buff of some sort-I use a Darkmoon Seesaw, Noggenfogger is an alternative.

When in the bg, you'll notice that while you can't use either item the buffs persist. To replicate the original growth glitch, simply remove the shrink buff by right-clicking on it and your character will grow as if they just had used the elixir.
