Eva's face softened upon hearing his firm declaration. In fact, everything in her melted as she leaned her face into the cradle of his palm as she held his gaze. “You’re so… down to earth, I can’t help but want to…” she bit her lower lip.

“Want to…?” Gage tilted his head, one below arched in a silent prodding. The devilish gleam in his eyes twinkled.

Eva blushed and looked sideways, but Gage caught her face and turned her face back to make her look at him.

“Want to what? Hmm? Darling?” Gage kept prodding, wanting her to say it out.

“Nothing.”

“Now you’ve made me even more desperate to make you say it.” He began to persist. “What is it? Hmm? Eva? You want to what? Tell me, darling. Don’t be shy. We’ve already –”

“I want to put you in my mouth.” She gave in and blurted. “Are you happy now…” she trailed off when his mischievous grin slowly faded. The look in his eyes grew hotter and more intense.

Blinking, Eva suddenly felt her heart start to race wildly within her.

“F**k,” his curse came out in a low but rumbling whisper. And then he suddenly pulled her up and, in a blur, he was the one seated on the CEO’s chair while she was bent over him. Her hands now braced on his powerful thighs.

“I know this is another temptation I need to resist. But… if my darling wanted to put me in her delicious mouth again, who am I to say no?” he asked with a shit-eating grin spreading over his face, and before Eva could realize it, her knees slowly landed on the floor.

Eva remembered that his scheduled client for today was none other than Ms. Wades.
