Just got through Big Mouth on Netflix. Not bad, I give it a 6.5/10. I was not expecting to see a thicc, long-haired, cloven-hooved manifestation of puberty. You know what? 7/10!

i tried the show, barely managed to get through the first episode. It must have gotten better from there, since the first episode left me no desire to watch any more of it =/

It’s very uneven. The drama occasionally feels forced, the humor sometimes dips into Family Guy shock and over-reliance on improv, but I felt the good juuuust outweighed the bad. Also, it got points for during the Motown cover of Black Sabbath’s “Changes.”

Just when the show was losing me, the Thiccbeast shows up! Plus, I think Maya Rudolph is a fairly underrated comedian. I mean, I don’t think she could carry a show, but she completely nails smaller but bolder roles like this.

It doesn’t hurt that she has a lot of the best lines in addition to her character design.
