There's also two shows that are set in the Monsterverse. "Skull Island" which came out time ago, and "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" which came out recently and still has new episodes coming out I think if you wanna watch both of those.

The screaming is basically intimidation, when they scream at each other before a fight it's to look like a threat, then when godzilla won the fight, he screamed at kong to let him know that he had won and that he was the top predator. He never wanted to kill kong, but just to put him in his place, because godzilla really is superior to kong.

if you wondering why godzilla don't finish kong, godzilla want kong to submit to him as alpha titans like other titans in the end godzilla king of the monsters, you don't watch the end credits scene in godzilla kotm but in the news they tell us that godzilla is keeps titan check to keeps natural order in earth. for the last part of godzilla and kong , i believe is just both titans respect each other, so godzilla is defend earth in surface and kong can defend inside hollow earth. if you like this "Monsterverse" you can watch monarch legacy for now, the monsterverse movie continued in April 2024 with Godzilla X Kong New Empire

To answer your question. Godzilla didn't kill Kong because he didn't actually want to kill him he just wanted to assert his dominance and show that he is king. And zilla is fine with just knowing that Kong knows that Godzilla could have killed him, but just decided not to. Because he could.
