I finally got around to putting together the foonotes for last month's feature map. You can read the footnotes here.  

The more interesting elements that I wanted to share was the thinking behind the seemingly arbitrary time segments and field size dimensions. And that's not to mention the interest real sports that I spoof or reference in this map. Enjoy!
