Tiers Update and Expectations for the Autumn Shift (Patreon)

As we get ready to shift gears for the fall, I thought I'd walk you through some of the major changes to come with the project. 

First, the postcards and postage stamps are coming. Many of you early supporters have been patiently checking your mail for postcards and stamps from my not so fantastical realm of adjacent possibilities, and I apologize for not getting them to you sooner. The graphics designer that I am working with is a perfectionist and a true visionary, so it has taken a while to get to the final stage. In the near future, I will make a video to explain the whole thought process behind the wonderful postage system we devised, but in the mean time, you can expect the promotional offer to be finally honoured in the early fall. 

The next big news is the changes to the Patreon tiers. I've decided to add two more tiers to go along with some merchandise promotional offers in the fall. Not much has changed for the existing tiers, except that I've renamed the old "Carta Collector" tier to "Philatelic Philanthropist," and I have also rescinded my offer of doing map commissions.  I simply do not have enough time to honour that benefit, and no one in that tier has ever approached me for a commission anyway. The free shipping offer on prints has also been moved to the new "Carta Collector" tier.

I will add that I am to be more diligent in my tier-based posts. I've realized that I have yet to release a collected Q&A post, so that will be a priority for this month, and you can expect that, along with all the other tiers, it will be more methodically released each month from now on. 

Finally, although I will probably not be able to release a map plate post this month due to vacation, I intend to still release a new video and feature map closer to the month's end.
