So it's been a while since I posted some footnotes links. For start, here are the footnotes for last month's map plate. You'll find that all map plate footnotes live in one ever-growing document.

And here's a file for the data that I used to make the bar charts for May's feature map, Old Kin and Humankind (Humans of Altera). What will probably be useful to some of you is the second sheet, which lists a dozen or more sources that I used for fabricating the real-but-not-so-real data in the map.
