Hello everyone.

Currently in Life Sim, strength and height are separate stats.  While this allows for more role-playing opportunities for players, it creates inconsistencies with the art, and adds more work on the development side of the game.

For example, since the girlfriend's height can be increased separately, it's not unusual for her to be significantly taller than in the artwork.  Conversely if a player has "height growth with muscle growth" disabled, then she will likely be much shorter than in the art.  

Properly supporting these 'unexpected' sizes for the girlfriend requires writing descriptions for each one, (something I haven't really done very much of yet), and commissioning enough art for them is currently unfeasible.

This could be avoided by merging height and muscle stats into one.  Simply put, all of the height checks in the game would check for muscle instead.  The game would narratively acknowledge that she's growing this way (without needing to write alternate lines if she isn't), and all of the extra height-only stuff would be dropped.   She still becomes taller, so fans of height content don't need to worry - though those of you who only like short women would be out of luck.

If you're someone who doesn't try to make their characters especially short or tall, you wouldn't notice any missing content - instead you'd enjoy a greater total amount each update.

Conversely, if playing through the game with an especially short or tall girlfriend is something you go out of your way to do, this could be expanded upon greatly.   Depending on how great the demand is, life sim could support upwards of 5+ bodytypes of varying stockiness -> leanness.   

There's only a very basic description for muscle proportionality in one or two activities.  Virtually all of the descriptions could be revamped to support various bodytypes - though that might require an update's worth of work.

Idk much about twine, but, If artwork is the issue couldnt the artwork be split into 3 parts: you, background, and GF, and overlay the characters at x height on the background? It would cut down on images, make expanding the art easier (maybe?), and fix the issue.

Simply having 3x bodytypes at each muscle level (stocky, 'normal', lean) would require 3x as many GF images, let alone accommodating more extreme ones.

I personally love the flavor text in the game currently about either having the girlfriend be a towering amazon or a short "cannonball" of muscle. I don't mind if the art is a bit inconsistent as long at least some of the scenes.

Merge... for the time being. Even though I turn on endurance growth as I'm keen on the extra height, considering the pros and cons I'd back linking height to muscle.

I'd personally prefer them to remain separate values. I like my girl tall, so usually keep the height and muscle linked, but I know a great many people who swear by swolestacks (short, but mega buff and curvy). I also like to play with that on occasion. Make it a lower priority, but don't merge them and forget about it. Something to possibly expand upon in the future.
