Hello everyone,

Holding a quick poll to gather feedback on which direction Jobs should take in Life Sim.

Currently the jobs are functionally activities that the player chooses for the characters to perform.  This gives the player a lot of freedom, but also results in a lot more clicking.

If kept this way, future updates involving jobs will focus on introducing new jobs to choose from, and expanding the descriptions for existing ones.

Alternatively, a future job update could make them more passive, similar to games like The Sims.  A simple version of this could be like so:

The in-game days would likely go back to 'ending' at midnight like in earlier versions.  After sleeping, employed characters would automatically go to their job in the morning (which would be shown in the upcoming 'morning' screen).  If both characters work, then the game would skip until they get home at 5:30, where it shows an after-work scene.  If one character stays home, they'd get to do split up actions until the other returns (possibly with support for solo characters visiting locations).  Characters would be paid daily or weekly, and could change their jobs at a new job center location (they'd have to finish up the week at their job first).

Updates beyond this could have different starting times for jobs and allow characters to choose working half / double shifts.

This newer system would require less clicks / micromanagement, and is much more realistic.

Regardless of which direction jobs go in, at some point activities like performing flexing shows on cam for cash will be added as well.

What sounds more fun to you as a player?  Actively sending characters to a job, or having it happen more passively?
