I've come up with what I feel is an interesting change to the nightmare collar - at least until more systems come into place that allow me to revamp it (and transfer) entirely.


Proposed Change:

Nightmare Collar is now SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper in the store, BUT, now only has a 10% chance of activating when it normally would.


This would:

- allow the player to obtain the collar much sooner

- make the collar nowhere near as overpowered  (Granted, you could just mindlessly grind the activities as much as you want)

- allow you to 'roleplay' a little bit, in that it will be random when the collar actually activates.


Let me know what your thoughts are.  In the future I'd like it to recharge based on certain things, and for it to be influenced by the girlfriend's  "Willpower" and/or "Hunger for Power" stats  (the former will be coming in a few updates,  the latter will come much later if it does make it in)

I think it could be a decent change. I think if there is ever more personality added some nightmare collar themed dialogue would be cool if her willpower/hunger for power is high enough.

I really like the idea of the willpower/hunger for power stats, especially if you add a chance for the girlfriend to manipulate events, such as when you go to sleep she sneaks out and does a quick workout or drinks a random potion

I love the idea of hunger for power, seems really fun. As for willpower, you can have some really fun interactions with other stats. It would be really fun if your willpower stat affected your girlfriend's stat progression. For example, if you get your girlfriends beauty stat freakishly/goddessly high, she might need willpower so her own appearance / reflection doesn't impact her own productivity. Additionally, the hunger for power stat could trigger random events where she uses the collar to drain strangers and such. If you want a literature example, think of some Max's work like Desiree and Stealing Beauty.
