I understand everything you said about Peyton and Lucas, and I totally agree that they souldn't have done that. But I'm sorry : Brooke knew. She's the one who made them kiss for the first time. She's the one who told Peyton several times that she needed to admit her feelings for Lucas. So, it was wrong of Lucas and Peyton to do that, but Brooke bad it coming in a way. She always knew.

I respectfully disagree. Peyton had so many chances where Brooke asked her to open up about her feelings regarding Lucas and she denied them each and every time. Never did she say that she had feelings for him. And Brooke trusted her best friend to be completely honest with her. She continued checking up on Peyton when she noticed something was bugging her and Peyton continued lying to her about it. So of course Brooke thought dating Lucas was okay--Peyton never gave her any sort of confirmation to assume otherwise. It's not up to Brooke, or for anybody, to put their lives on hold when their best friends can't be open and honest with them. Brooke absolutely did not have it coming. She trusted her best friend and she trusted her boyfriend. They both absolutely fucked her over and she is the innocent party here.

They did fuck her over, no doubt about it. But I disagree, She's not innocent. Again, she knew. Peyton wasn't honest, but she knew she wasn't, that's why she kept asking. And Peyton did tell her about the kiss, and the fact that she ran away because she got scared. Brooke knew about all of that. And she knows about Peyton's difficulty to open up. So, of course Peyton and Lucas were wrong, and they never should have done that. But I'm sorry, you can't say she didn't know.

Did you notice that Dan and Keith's father was Dr. K --- the doctor who delivered the babies in This is Us? It's funny cause he's such a bastard here, yet so lovely in This is Us.

I was really disgusted by Peyton and Lucas's behavior this episode. Lucas has made a commitment to Brooke but we all know as an audience that he still harbors feelings for Peyton and he decides to act on it in this episode. And Peyton to me should have had Brooke a lot more on her mind than what she did regarding she is there to support her in this whole missing father incident. I mean a lot of this stuff could have been avoided if Peyton was just honest with herself and Brooke about her feelings for Lucas. I feel really bad for Brooke and she really deserves so much better.

I think who I blame the most in the Peyton/Lucas/Brooke love triangle is Lucas. Peyton was in a vulnerable situation and made a mistake, but Lucas is dating Brooke. He should've been more loyal and at least really regret it. But since Lucas has always been in love with Peyton, he didn't care. at least not enough. which sucks for Brooke who was - as you said - very trusting to both of them.

why though? yes, Peyton had equal parts responsibility in cheating on Brooke, but Lucas is the one with the girlfriend and she was an emotional mess.
