Yeah, blood sharing is meant to be very intimate. I think that's why Stefan was a bit upset.

I think the blood sharing is meant to be a sexual experience. Damon was certainly getting off on it, Elena going straight in for the grinding hips suggests maybe it had the same effect on her too. Great review. All questions will be answered.

Always love your reviews. I appreciate that you take the time to understand characters. It's very black and white to say Stefan is good and Damon is bad. That's such a shallow analysis of the two. You're right that they both live in the gray. I think one of the things about Damon that people sometimes don't understand is that he's used to people seeing the worst in him so he sees the worst in himself. Everyone loves Stefan, praises how in touch with his feelings he is and how good his intentions are. What the characters often don't see (aside from Alaric and Elena) is that, and I'd argue, Damon feels things even more deeply than Stefan. I think that he's just never had anyone there to share these things with and views it as a weakness. He hides it from himself and others, and resorts to bad things to try to prove he doesn't care. Thank you for taking the time to understand the characters. Keep up the amazing reactions.

Hi Juli! I just joined your patreon and wanted to tell you I'm loving your reactions and the in-depth thought you put into your comments about each episode! The Vampire Diaries is my favorite television show of all time so I had to become a member to watch your full uncut videos on patreon! I have so much I wanna say about the show and the characters as a whole. For starters, this season is one of my top two favorites of the entire series and there are so many fantastic episodes this season! Prepare to go on an emotional rollercoaster ride! But for now I'll just talk about 4x02. Such a great episode for so many reasons. It really touches on how both brothers try to find solutions to help Elena in their own ways. Stefan being on the more irrational front while Damon goes the more realistic route. This episode was again an amazing Delena episode. (I've always been Delena btw since day one though I respect Stelena but Delena is my endgame) and really showed the intimacy between the two. Also don't worry about the writers pinning Damon as "the villain." Everything they do is intentional and viewers understand that there are so many layers to Damon's character and emotional heartbreak and grief from the past that has shaped who he is right now in this episode that we as viewers don't hate him and can understand why he is the way he is and why he does the things he does. Just remember the writers are smart here :) They know we all love Damon as much as they do. Also, the bathroom scene between Damon and Elena is meant to be very sexual because when vampires drink from one another it's a very intimate experience. In regards to all your questions about what's going on this season regarding the Vampire hunter, Jeremy seeing the tattoo, etc. it will all be answered as we go along so don't worry. I can't wait for you to watch 4x07! Only 5 more episodes away. It's one of my three favorite episodes of the entire series. It's going to be EPIC! So excited!

Blood sharing is a sexual act. Damon had Elena commit a sexual act on him without telling her what exactly she was doing. You can have your opinions on Stefan this episode but Damon overstepped a major line and Stefan had every right to be upset.
