For those concerned about Lithium Shortages... there is none

  • A significant lithium deposit has been discovered along the Nevada–Oregon border, estimated to contain 20 to 40 million tonnes of lithium metal, surpassing previous records.
  • In-situ analysis revealed an unusually high lithium content in a claystone called illite, almost double that found in the more common lithium-bearing clay mineral, magnesium smectite.
  • The deposit's unique formation involved volcanic activity, the creation of a crater (McDermitt caldera), and the subsequent exposure of sediments to a lithium-rich brine, leading to the formation of lithium-rich particles.
  • This discovery is of great importance as it has the potential to impact global lithium dynamics, affecting prices, supply security, and geopolitics.
  • The extraction of lithium from this deposit, expected to begin in 2026, could provide the U.S. with a domestic source of lithium and alleviate concerns about supply shortages, especially if done in an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

I’m in Nevada and I met a gentleman at my barber shop 2 months ago that sold his mine for 172Mil after he bought it for 1.7mil 17 years ago, and he and another gent have come up with a way to use Harmonic frequency to separate most of an ore without cyanide and other toxic chemicals, he also talked about a lithium mine going in, this must’ve been in. Guy was really neat to talk to

Not surprised… Ive spent a bunch of time from Denio Junction to McDermott for many years , prospecting , hounding and exploring . I doubt there will be many impediments in that area - Nevada is VERY mineral and mining friendly.

James, this is one of the exact reasons I told you last year about Hypersciences out of Spokane, WA. Their Hypercore system is ground breaking (no pun intended) and energy-efficient and environmentally friendly as well as FASTER and more COST EFFICIENT than any known technology. It's also more mobile and very easily deployed WITHOUT needing blasting permits.

Lithium is not a long term solution not only because, despite ocean having 'allegedly' some 200Mton (gaslighting) , the calculated 'usable' Lithium by Science is less than 100Mton and by 2030 (not that far) we'll be consuming at least 5Mton/year INCREASING EXPONENTIALLY (yeah, do the maths), but also, the process of extracting lithium consumes significant amounts of water and energy, and lithium mining can pollute the air and water with chemicals and heavy metals. In addition, mining lithium and the surely reckless disposing old batteries that will inevitably come in a near future, can, AND WILL, massively disrupt wildlife habitats and cause soil erosion, leading to long-term ecological damage, but hey, who cares right? :) Sodium, on the other hand, is more than 500 times more abundant than lithium, which is available in a few countries. Sodium-ion battery charges faster than lithium-ion variants and have a three times higher lifecycle. On the other hand, there's way more hidden interests behind the lithium which I can't talk about, and that's why it's being used instead. I said it once, shall say it again, EVs and lithium, are good enough for scooters, electric wheelchairs and cellphones, but are NOT the solution for global transportation. If this climate BS agenda continues, FCEVs maybe become the #1 in the future, being H+ in the lead. I guess we shall see.

“The extraction of lithium from this deposit, expected to begin in 2026, could provide the U.S. with a domestic source of lithium and alleviate concerns about supply shortages, especially if done in an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly manner.” James does this alleviate any concerns about China buying ~50% of the lithium mines/worldwide supply?

Great news for the USA

James, should one invest in Nevada Lithium Resources Inc? What do you think-NFA?
