- Monika is a choreographer was on Street Woman Fighter, where she was known for being pretty strict. She was also was one of the dance teachers for Queendom 2. Loona and Eunji performed her song. - Looks like he is mainly a trot and ballad singer and won the show Mr. Trot. Only seeing one OST song listed on Wikipedia. - I don't know if have checked out Zico's group Block B, but I think you would enjoy. There are certainly on the more hip hop (which makes sense when Zico is the leader). P.O. (who you saw on Hotel Del Luna) is also a member, so you would see a different side to him there. Very Good, Her, Nillili Mambo, and NalinA are all great songs. - There is also an amazing Block B vs BTS MAMA performance in 2014. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnjQB4xpYG8 - Yes, Street Man Fighter. Zico's song came out the same week as Bibi and Yoon Mirae's song. Zico's song was for the group leaders while Law was for the sub leaders. - Zico just got out of military service this year and put out two MVs. The first was Seoul Drift and then Freak. For Zico solo stuff, I think Any Song is a must. It is probably his biggest song and pretty much paved the way for TikTok dance challenges in Korea when he did a dance challenge with Hwasa. Another fun fact is that Zico wrote a note for Bibi for the Linear notes of "Life is a B..." and also gave her feedback for Lowlife Princess (they talked about when they were on Amazing Saturday together with Ive Yujin and comedian Lee Eunji). - Yeah, music shows are already an all day thing for groups, and I'm sure there is even more for an award show performance. - More and Arson were amazing as expected. - If anyone can handle the pressure, it is a member of BTS. - I could certainly give some recommendations for MAMA performances of ones you might not have seen, if you want.

Ok that makes sense, I thought she looked familiar - I need to get to know zico more, I find myself thinking that every time I hear him, I appreciate the recommendations - I bet the BTS vs block b is cool, I'll for sure check it out, I think I might make a list of past mama performances I haven't seen and do a reaction to them on here - I think it's awesome to see good relationships within the industry, hearing things like zico feedback for Bibi makes both artists involved seem like better people and as fans we might have gotten a better finished product because of it - I bet award shows are exhausting for anyone performing, and prolly not all that fun for artists in general - I admittedly don't know the BTS members all that well, but RM and J Hope are my two favorite ones right now, and yeah they are used to having the pressure of performance in front of so many ppl - yeah I would love a MAMA list, I think I've seen all the Twice ones and a few other performances, but not a lot

- Bibi certainly seems to have some great people to help her out, like Zico and of course, all of MFBTY. BTW Bibi was previously a feature on a Zico song called Love and Hate. She was also one of the features on Crush's album With Her (which for some reason I keep thinking is Zico's album). Other features on that album include Taeyeon, Lee Hi, Lee Sora, and Yoon Mirae. - The entire rap line for BTS are probably my favorites. - I had to think of the best way to present the date, but here is the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1E35SyoUC9JhtXthPODdJoZZ-vc5xYYFsFccfP7PgSVY/edit?usp=sharing - For each performance includes the links to each section in order (if separated into multiple videos) and the total time of all the videos together, along with basic date like artists and songs. - I didn't include artists that I assumed you have checked out like (G)I-DLE and Mamamoo, along with only including performances I was already familiar with. I'm sure they are plenty of other great performances out there.

I really like every one in their crew and everyone they work with, they all seem like genuine people - I only know a few crush songs but I really like them too, lol I got soo much music to catch up on.. one of the best possible problems to have lol - I know quite a few BTS songs but I have been slow to get to know them as members. - that spreadsheet is awesome, I truly appreciate it, I don't think I know any of those performances and they seem like ones I would actually like. I'll for sure watch them, thank you

After seeing Itzy live on their recent tour, they have quickly become one of my favorite groups.

i would have loved to had seen Itzy when they came around, but sadly the timing didnt really work out as it was really close to another concert i was already travelling to. This year was the first time i went to a kpop concert (Dreamcatcher, Brave Girls, G-Idle) all were awesome and offered completely different vibes. I pretty much loved everything about the whole experience at all of them. So i will for sure be more on the hunt to see more shows in the future with Itzy high on that hunt lol What is your favotire Itzy song?

This year was also my first time going to a Kpop concert (Twice (3 times lol) and Itzy). Both groups were absolutely exceptional, highly recommend when they come back around (Twice is apparently supposed to have another tour next year). I went into the Twice concerts a big Once, and made some amazing memories (Especially my first one in NY (My first Kpop concert ever) and the LA Encore Day 1, which was a surreal experience being their first open-air stadium in the US. Them singing Moonlight under the light of the full moon was unlike anything I'd experienced before. Itzy on the other hand, I liked them but didn't quite consider myself a Midzy yet. Their concert very much changed that. Despite a much smaller stage than Twice, they absolutely owned every second of it (and it had its upsides of more Idol interaction and just generally being closer) and I'm now a full-on Midzy for sure. I'd say as good as Twice in terms of performance. There were a lot of other groups touring this year that I wanted to go see (such as Dreamcatcher) but wasn't able to, will certainly be looking for more in the future. As far as my favorite Itzy song goes, that's a tough one. I've been listening to their Cheshire album a lot recently. Cheshire might take my new favorite title spot over Loco, and Freaky is one of my favorite B-Sides from them. Seeing a lot of their songs live really upped them for me. What I Want and Shoot were definite highlights, Twenty as well. If I keep going I might just list all of their songs lol.

Twice i would love to see, i really regret not going this time. The shows i went to were all smaller in comparison, but like you said i kinda appreciate that you get a lil more intimate of a setting. How you feel about itzy going into the concert is kinda how i was with Brave Girls... i really only knew a few songs by them at the time, and saw them on Queendom 2, but thats it. We were on our way to Chicago to watch the Japanese band Scandal, but only a couple hours before the show they cancelled, so we looked up other concerts in the area and just kept driving, we saw Brave Girls were playing, so we bought tickets lol. So we just kept on our way to Chicago and went to that show instead lol.... but i came out loving so many more songs and being a bigger fan of them in general. For Itzy i think my favorites are "Dalla Dalla" for Title tracks and either "Surf" or "Love Is" for a b-sides.... Their Japanese tracks are on another level tho "Voltage" is one of my favorite songs of the year, they have been killing it since day 1 imo

I managed (read: spent far too much money) to get pretty close and similar seats for all the concerts, but the smaller venues definitely make a difference. Also helps that Itzy members were super interactive in general, especially Yuna and Ryujin. I came away from their concert with a much greater appreciation for all the members and their music/performance. "Love Is" is definitely up there for me as well, and their Japanese tracks are too. Unfortunately, groups aren't ever able to perform their Japanese tracks outside of Japan. Would have loved to have seen "Voltage" or "Blah Blah Blah" from Itzy or any number of Twice's Japanese tracks, but unfortunately, the only way to do that is to go to a concert in Japan.

oh i didnt realize that not playing japanese songs outside of japan was a thing... now that i think of it, i dont think any of the concerts i went to played japanese tracks either. I wonder if its a contract thing or they just dont think they would be recieved elsewhere

DaximiousCMV

Japanese content in general tends to stay quite separate from the rest of the world. Just trying to watch shows and things that groups appear on in Japan feels like someone had to smuggle it out of the country for you to see it. I know that Twice and Itzy are both under Warner Bros Japan for their Japanese stuff (and Republic Records for American/Western stuff), so not sure if licensing/rights things are going on there when it comes to their Korean-produced tours.

i was listening to a lot of japanese rock and metal before i started my kpop journey, and i think its funny how Japan seems both light years ahead but also decades behind lol i used to get so frustrated about nothing having subtitles and it felt like they try to hide some things from outsiders lol.. i just think of it as an adventure or a music expedition sometimes

DaximiousCMV

It's certainly an adventure, not to mention how much more expensive trying to get anything from Japan is.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with IU's Palette show on Youtube, but I just recalled that IU performed "Surf" with Itzy on that show among other songs by both artists. IU's show is always good, figured it might be something you'd be interested in either as a reaction or on your own time.

I have seen a few clips of her show, including that one with Itzy, but I have never watched a full episode. I think when I get done watching the MAMA performances I might try one. Thank you for the heads up!
