- Ive had such a huge year. It is amazing that a group managed to win a Daesang and a rookie of the year in the same year. - Yujin gets a fair amount of attention as well (though like Wonyoung she was also IZ*ONE). Yujin was a cast member of Earth Arcade, which was probably my favorite show this year. She certainly broke the idol image while appearing on the show. - All 6 members were also the stars of the first two episodes of an idol spin-off version of 1 Night 2 Days. Since the real playlist is a mess, here is a playlist with all the parts: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqmgzTspkzw4yMX5qaYjo9FP8ZR_Ldh7O - I agree, they are certainly going for elegance. - I think of the three, After Like is probably my least favorite of their title tracks, but it is still great. - Starship is still a pretty strong mid-tier group. Other groups that are part of the company are WJSN, Cravitity, and Monsta X. Sistar was also part of the company, but all of the members have since left with Soyou being the last. Starship also has a deal with Pepsi where they put out at least one song for the company every year. - Given that they were paired up with Niziu I kind of figured they were from a Japanese competition show, and sure enough, they are from the second season of Produce 101 Japan. - Jaurim is a rock group that has been around for quite a while (debut was in 1997). They got some attention this year for their song Twenty-Five, Twenty-One that is almost 10 years old due to being featured in the drama of the same name. - Really sounds like it was a great time. - I would assume it was their choice. I see no reason why wouldn't be able to perform Nxde, especially since they performed it on Countdown. - As you can probably guess, Boxing Helena is a Jaurim song. - I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get the full version of My Bag. - I do think (G)I-DLE's MMA performance was better than the MAMA one. - The difference here is that these are live performance, versus something pre-recorded so they can't do as much as what they do on a recorded show. I'm sure the behind the scenes people are probably the same ones doing Queendom and other MNet shows. - BTW how far have you gotten through Second World?

I really like the group, usually with newer groups I can like them, but it takes a comeback or two for me to be a fan, but IVE has been killing it since day 1.. and Rei killed it on the LeeMujin show, I still listen to their duet of Boat damn near everyday. I thought that of After Like aswell, but they are evening out for me a lil now - I imagine Starship and Stone Music to be about the same tier of companies, I like a lot from both companies. - I'm not a fan of Niziu, I see some talent there, but everything has been blehh at best for me - I love g-idle it's hard to pinpoint why, but they have always had an edgier vibe and it's infectious, I think they all are great at writing and performing.. that being said Tomboy and Nude aren't even close to my favorite songs by them, I think their b-sides are the good stuff lol - it would be hard to do epic live performances, I can understand it being a lil more restraining - I started the first episode but the video quality was so bad I started to get a headache and haven't went back.. it sucks that video quality and subtitles are still an issue in this day in age

- (G)I-DLE just kind of doing their own thing, which makes it sound different from the rest of K-Pop is at least part of it for me. - No hate against Jaurim, but the fact that (G)I-DLE had to share the stage here while they didn't for MMA might be why I liked the MMA one more, because then (G)I-DLE could just do whatever they want while with MAMA they had to work together which is more likely to force things in a given direction. The same could be said with Tiger JK/3Racha being paired up with a classical composer. I still very much overall enjoyed the (G)I-DLE/Jaurim performance though. - I guess I'm just used to having to deal with 720p versions. Maybe try the download version? It is still 720p but don't have to worry about the connection of the site.

Yeah being a part of a collaboration has it's pros and cons, it's a unique performance but some compromises usually have to be made. - I'm fine with 720p usually, but it felt worse than that, I'll just have to check again.. it might just be I was getting a headache regardless whether I watched it or not

-IVE's company Starship isn't big 4 but they're no stranger to success, Sistar was huge. Monsta X is super successful as well. -I agree on NiziU, I just don't connect with the music. I watched the NiziU project and really enjoyed it, it felt like a sequel to Sixteen. I got invested into the members, especially Mako and Mihi, but I need Twice's team to take over for me to stan them. -That's Kim Yoon-Ah, singer-songwriter of Jaurim performing with Miyeon/Minnie, I became her fan through that show Begin Again, where Korean artists travel to different countries and busk. Taeyeon was on the most recent season.

I'm glad that successful artists aren't only from 3 or 4 agencies, that could get boring real fast. I have another friend that says the exact same thing about Niziu. They watched the show, got hyped for them, now wishes Twices team wrote for them I have seen some of Taeyeons begin again performances, very cool setting, I'll have to check out more
