You don’t fool me Russel T Davies— this was one episode disguised as two and it was FANTASTIC. such a clever way to incorporate such a human story with a strong sci-fi twist in a historic WWII backdrop. It’s that unique combination that makes this show so special.

*Why didn't early access come out the same day as the full length? Short version: Early Access will come out on the day public episodes are released on YouTube. Longer version: I'm going to start releasing 3 episodes of tv a week. Some weeks there will be a double dose of BSG and other weeks a double dose of Doctor Who. It won't take long before the full lengths are further ahead than the Early Access so across the board I'm just detaching the synchronized releases and releasing Full Length TV shows on Monday-Wednesday and early access episodes on the days of public YouTube releases. I will occasionally double up on early access some weeks too, be it combined episodes like this one, or two separate videos like I'm planning with ep 12 & 13 of this series. Appreciate you!

John Barrowman is actually Scottish, but moved to America as a child, which means he developed an American accent but still uses British pronunciations (check out his several mentions of the barrage balloon here). This role was his big break into stardom, but in America he's better known these days as Malcolm Merlyn from the Arrowverse, where he became so popular that every show wanted to use him and he signed a unique contract allowing him to appear on them all whenever they wanted.

Chirstopher Eccleston is my favourite doctor and this double parter remains probably the best ever episodes for me.
