Aaaw I thought you were going to pull out Star Trek 😁😁😁

I've thought about it! I'm just still a bit unsure 😅. If I ever do it will be a limited commitment to test the waters.

Seeing as theres more than 800 hours of Trek before the year 2000...limited would make a lot of sense.

Bet you'd really enjoy the original movies, for which you just need a vague understanding, and then you'll "know" Trek. And whilst folks will say you have to watch Space Seed before Trek 2, you don't. The original movies are all really good, except for some of them! (I'm not selling this am I?) Uh...David Warner is in 2 of them! Does he die? 22% chance!

If you do dip into those waters, you'll get plenty of suggestions on building a sampler!

One of my employees (worked for me for 7+ years) has a film degree, so we talk flicks a lot. She's never seen Trek. I've told her to just not bother, cause where do you start if not being a little kid watching campy Spock, right?...but I made her dress as Tasha Yarr for Halloween one year. I also have an Uhura mannequin in my restaurant, which makes no sense. I'm a trekker, down to the bones. But Chris would, at best and allowing for time, enjoy the original flicks a bunch. I bet a tribble on that.

Was hopint for "Firefly" + the movie "Serenity" which ties up most of the plot points from the 13-episode series.

I'd pick that in a heartbeat. But I have seen the show and film several times, read all the books and even have the upcoming book preordered. It would still be so much fun to watch the channel, but sadly not a real possibility.

Chris ..a show you should *never* consider for even a moment: Lexx. Man, I LOVE Lexx, so much! Remember Scanners? Firefly + Scanners + Twilight + Freudian nightmare + occasional musical numbers!

Ahh...that explains it! Believe me, I'm not complaining! About a year ago, on your "Blade Runner" reaction, I believe, I had asked you about reacting to the "Battlestar Galactica" reboot. At the time, I think you had said you didn't have any plans for it. And here you are! Patience is a virtue.
