Did I think this would be an engaging movie when it started? No. Did it end up sucking me in and giving me some true scares as well as a few good laughs? Oh my gosh, yes! I would for sure watch another. Thanks for picking this one, Kelvin.

I’m glad you liked it overall! I’ll check out the full version after work but I will say this is another movie that I kind of didn’t get in my first viewing but revisiting it recently I got sucked into. The main character is such a *moron* that it made me a bit too negative in my first viewing but in my second I was able to kind of see more how much the movie is in on you disliking him in a pretty particular way that actually works for me in how it comments on the streamer personalities. And even despite largely spending too much of my first watch hating Shawn I came away liking the concept and execution enough to come back for the second time. Just a lot of fun. More when I get back

I probably would have turned it off had I stumbled across it on my own, but I'm so glad you picked it because I'd have missed out on a really enjoyable film experience.

I don't know what this movie is. From skimming comments it seems a parody of horror with an antihero who upends expectations. I've seen that type of flick before, certainly, but this has extra juice? Chris, Kelvin, and Ryan...yall seem to dig it and that peaks my interest as y'all are very different cats and are all clearly as bright as the sun! I'm cynical and hesitant...but also game.

I mean it's not great cinema or anything, but it's a fun time. It's probably exactly what a streamer visiting a real haunted house would be like. 😅 It's worth a free trial to Shudder.
