This was definitely a laugh out loud kind of movie filled with interesting characters, and a world truly foreign to me. Thankfully the people in it were so likable. Except for a few egg sucking leeches, of course.

Thanks Paul Zawicki for this selection!

After Fred Willard's passing, this was the film I always pointed to as the best showcase for his talent, given that unlike his other Christopher Guest films where he's present the whole time, here he just shows up in the final third of the movie and completely steals the whole thing. And I especially love "That handler looks familiar to me," which is obviously a nod to how he and Catherine O'Hara played a married couple in Waiting for Guffman, but even if you haven't seen that movie (like I hadn't the first time I watched this) it works great as just part of the running gag of her sleeping with so many guys in the past.

I love a multilayered joke. Fred really did come in and own that role. I cant recall when I first became known of him, but he has never failed to make me laugh.
