Now we're talking! This is the episode I've been waiting for. All the threads are coming together and there is a clear focus for the remainder of the season. This is one of the best episodes of the entire series!

The director on this one is Oscar winner Peter Ramsey of Rise of the Guardians and Into the Spider-Verse, doing a much better initial job than Dave Filoni of leaping into live action directing after a long career in animation. And as impatient as most of us have been with the first half of the season, the fact that it's now clearly all going somewhere does a lot to make even the weaker moments more palatable. Though I do hope there's more to the villains than Gideon, since it would be incredibly silly at this point to try to play his appearance as any kind of twist, and it's now officially too late in the season to give him a more casual return appearance.

Oh wow, he did amazing directing this! I too would love to see something different villain wise, but I suppose it all depends on what he's been up to. I can think of a few things that would be pretty wow worthy. We'll see what happens!
