THAT WASN'T DEER MEAT! Holy crap! This was the most brutal episode yet. Unbelievably intense and incredibly difficult to watch. In other news, another typical day in the world of the last of us. Although this particular day will undoubtedly leave a lasting more on at least one key character.

Ryan

James is played by Troy Baker, Joel from the game. He's said that after having the character in his head all these years, it was incredibly hard to resist breaking character and helping Ellie.

FWIW: I also absolutely adored ep 7. I would have been very very disappointed if we didn't get this part of Ellie's backstory. We got a whole episode to show us Joel's motivations (first one), and Ellie is just as important a character as he is! LOL (Also, LMAO: "I'm not a fan of the brutality." *20 minutes later* "BURN HIS EYE OUT!!!")
