Katee Sackhoff has said you’re not seeing acting from her in the scene where Starbuck confesses. Edward James Olmos’ performance as Adama struggles to keep his raging fury under control (and we’re only seeing it on a tiny screen, just imagine it happening live right in front of you!) genuinely terrified her, especially given his reputation for going off-script without warning. The way she covers the back of her head as she leaves was because she was worried he’d throw something at her.

I have no trouble believing that. Olmos is a figure and his performance is chilling through the screen. I can only imagine the feels of standing next to him.

Just a tiny bit of trivia for you. The name of the card game that they are playing is Triad. It was called Pyramid in the original series and it was their intention to not change the name, but someone "fracked" up. I was heavily involved in the Sci Fi boards as the show was airing and this little detail drove the old school fans mad, as I'm sure you can well imagine. Oh, and I still stand behind my tip of not watching the previews. Perhaps give it a try for this next episode so you go in totally blind and explain what you are testing out. It's really easy to hear the music queues tell you when to open your eyes back up.

Triad is so similar to pyramid, but yeah it certainly wasn't needed to change. I respect the intent and I can't help but wonder who messed that up lol!
