This was incredible! My reaction to the fact cards at the end really says it all. Nothing short of a miraculous series could pull that kind of emotion out of me. I felt the full spectrum of human emotion throughout these five episodes.

Devastating is incredibly accurate. So many times while watching this and describing what was happening I felt like my words were so understated compared to the tragedy of what was taking place.

I feel like this is a series you could discuss forever and never quite get to what it is that you mean (as you've said to Webwyrm above). It's impossible to talk about, only around it. It's an astounding piece of art and a powerful sociopolitical statement. All of the interviews with the actors and creative team juuuuust skirted the contemporary political landscape.
