I’ve rarely felt more lost and compelled in a single episode of doctor who. This took a wild turn and ended on quite a shocking note.

Although it's the middle part of this story, it's really the first full episode of the Master, so it's a great chance to explore his character, get a bit of back story, develop the (chaotic) relationship with the Doctor, and show you just absolutely bat shit crazy the Master really is! Although Simms master is pretty campy (they pretty much all are, it's a thing) he's also extremely unpredictable and that makes him super dangerous (and FUN to watch!!!). Looking forward to the *full version* of the finale tomorrow.

I was shaking with excitement to watch this with you. I am in Australia and your episodes drop really late at night here. So I had to get through my entire day and martial arts before I could sit down to watch it. Stayed up past my bedtime to watch this before the next one drops. I didn't mention this in the last episode but it works for this one too. I love David Tenant and John Barrowman and how they play The Doctor and Jack. The LOOKS The Doctor gives Jack! Meanwhile, the absolute horror on your face as The Master has the Toclofane decimating Earth and Martha is fleeing. I also really enjoy The Master, John Simm does such a brilliant job. I think you're just as lost as Martha which is the perfect way to be. She really does feel like the last hope AND she is on her own. She has had to leave The Doctor, Jack and her family behind! Ahhhh!!! Fun behind the scenes, according to John Barrowman, he and David Tenant were having foot races when filming the running scenes. DT is in converse (Fine for running in) and JB is in Caterpillar boots (heavy and not great to run in) and is also several years older than DT. But they're going for it! and poor Freema ended up having to ask them to calm down because it was getting ridiculous and she couldn't keep up at all haha So excited to tackle the final episode of the season with you!
