"Gas-Trooper" Pip

Odraani Gas troopers are somewhat unique; highly specialised soldiers to deal with a relatively narrow range of situations. Equipped with a high-pressure chemical thrower they use a large variety of chemicals - ranging from harmless irritants, though corrosive agents to deadly neurotoxins - to deal foes.

They are most often deployed during boarding or urban combat as both ant-fortification and anti-vehicle units, but are frequently used to deal with hazardous chemical threats

Because of the nature of the deployment, they are armoured heavier than a regular troop, with several backup systems for life support and extra padding.

While their reputation is deadly, they an unpopular role within the military given the risks.

A while back ago I brought up the idea of 'troopifying' a Patreon supporter as a fun project. Sadly it took way longer than I intended, putting it on hold or restarting on several occasions, but I'm glad peeps loved the small WIP stages I shared ^^
