Patreon pause + minor burnout (Patreon)

Hi all!

My TL;DR up front is that I think, for a few reasons, I need to take a 2 week pause on A Big Swing and bump this month's pollustration to next month, and because of that I'll be pausing Patreon pledges for March. This means that page 29 of A Big Swing would release here on March 7th, resuming the weekly schedule to conclude on March 28th, assuming no further delays, and the month of March would be free to make up for this month!

Okay, so to elaborate more - this feels kinda silly being so near the end of A Big Swing, but I think at the moment I'm starting to get a little burned out on it? So this pause is meant to mitigate that before it gets worse. I really wouldn't want the last 4 pages to take a dip in quality because I wasn't feeling it! 

I realized this because I started making some Skies of Arcadia fanart on a whim (you can see that at twitter.com/gingerbearart if it interests you), and I'm LOVING it. It's so refreshing to draw fresh subject matter, and honestly, this is the first time I've felt like I can do my favorite game justice with my own art, which I feel like I've dreamed of being capable of since I was like 12. But when I tried to work on this week's page sketch, my motivation just tanked! I had this gut feeling that I just don't have it in me right now, and if I tried to force it, it wouldn't turn out how I wanted.

Of course this isn't helped by starting a new full time job. I have juggled work and making a comic before, so I'm hoping I can still pull it off in March - I have gotten faster just over the course of making A Big Swing! But right now, pursuing this experimental not horny art and the job feels like too much to try and do A Big Swing on top of. 

After thinking about it, I think 2 weeks is about the right amount of time to focus on drawing other stuff and refresh my brain, and then I can come back and finish A Big Swing the right way. After the comic concludes, I might keep the Patreon paused for a while longer before starting another comic? But we'll figure that out when we get there.
