And here's chapter 52, with the conclusion of the bout between Shirou and Lancer.

Have fun.

Tomorrow I'm putting up the poll for the story selection, but Path of the King isn't going to be one of them.

Till tomorrow.

Hoooly shit!!! That line about sister to Rin was such a gut-punch!!! Edit... It was so awesome that I forgot the original reason I wanted to make a reply and that was about the Lancer fight and the 'she' being mentioned.. This was so good!!!

Very good chapter. A few grammatical errors here and there, but otherwise top notch. I liked Shirou's line to Rin as well, especially since he made it in ignorance of her situation. Edit... One notable aspect of Shirou's successes lies in surprise factor. While his initial showing has been excellent, and some people are going to scream that he's overpowered, it's made clear that he is very aware that any succeeding fights will be much harder as all opponents learn to take him seriously. Bazette, if she ever confronts him will prove an enormous hurdle to him.

Yeah. No way in hell he'd get Lancer twice with the same trick. If they were to fight again, he'll treat Shirou like an actual threat and screw him rather than screw around.

Hey I was rereading the chapter and noticed an error in the repeated part with Lancer (repeated as in it's the part that's the same as in 51) You probably meant to say that Cu Chulainn 'qualified for the Caster Class' and instead you said that he 'qualified for the Servant Class'

If lancer's weapon is gone how is he going to fight? Is the NP going to regenerate or would lancer be forced to fight using runes?

I think you're underestimating Lancer's runic magic. JUST using runes would force Cu Chulainn to fight like a Magi, which is bad enough, but given that Gae Bolg's power was reinforced by Lancer's mastery of Runes as well, he could probably make himself another weapon of similar power if given enough time and materials. Plus, Bazette is one of the few humans with access to a Noble Phantasm that her family has inherited. She could just as easily give it to Lancer to use.
