And that's it for Eisuke Hondou. You finally made it lol and it's probably fine for me to say that this really is it for Eisuke. He doesn't come back after this, and I don't think there is any indication of a possible return. Rest easy, my dude lol So, Eisuke is now the second person to deduce on their own that Conan is Shinichi, the only other being our boy Heiji (and Vermouth too if you want to include her). And yeah, the next episode is canon, and features the Detective Boys lol A few of us have mentioned that EP 509 is the end of the Kir Arc and also the start of the next one. Remember that, and also remember that 509, 510, and 511 are a three-parter. I'll add more once you finish EP 511. Something that is probably worth noting is that, with how TMS adapted the manga files, the three-parter is technically a 1.5-1.5. Meaning, 509 and the first half of 510 is one case, and the second half of 510 and 511 is another case. It's pretty cool how it's done. Not sure if this has happened before, but it does happen again in the late-500s, a classic 2.5-2.5. Riveting stuff all around.

yep... end of the road for Eisuke (for now at least, Gosho mentionned in an interview a few years ago that he'll come back someday). Next episode : the introduction of the longest arc to date in Detective Conan (in term of chapters though, in term of years the current one is longer :( ).
