OKAYYYY APOCALYPSEEEE LETS GOOOOOO!!! This one was so fucking cool, I love getting a bunch of little clues throughout the episode, then the map and everything to reveal the apocalypse location and shit <3 LOVE IT!!

and the big baddie demon bro is pretty cool looking so I honestly love it.

but of course.... cant have an apocalypse without cordy sleeping with angel's son............. i guess................. ANYWAYS-

This really is a good episode, and the ending ... I appreciate your unhappiness with it. You are being quite reasonable with your unhappiness.

Although in the Buffyverse I believe that Connor is about 18 and Cordy is around 22, in real life she is 9 years his senior. If both were older it wouldn’t look so odd and awkward. Apart from her having changed his nappies, that is.

I'm also not a fan of Cordelia and Connor but rewatching it this time I had more of a reaction with the Wes/Lilah scenes - I actually had real sympathy for Lilah when Wes told her to keep the glasses on. That clearly hurt.

I think Wes is the best part of this episode. His scene with Lilah, the interactions with Gunn, the crossbow-reconciliation with Angel. And the Gunn-Fred stuff is heartbreaking. And Lorne is 100% delightful. And Angel himself seems extra badass. I try very, very hard to focus on those things and not on what the hell is wrong with Queen C. But I am reminded that my first time all the way through s4 I needed a buddy to figuratively hold my hand. I had, in fact, rage-quit at this point on my first attempt. Or ew-quit. Because ew.

Your positivity is so great. I was fully expecting you to Nope out of Angel entirely after the end of this episode. The thing is, I totally agree with you, Season 4 is GREAT minus the Ship That Shall Not Be Named. I think if you take it out we'd all stop naming this our least favorite season

Yeah, I don't rewatch this episode much, so I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it up until the last 3 minutes.

Okay.. finally mustered the patience to sit through this episode again and I have to admit I forgot how hilarious Lorne the receptionist is in this. The one sided remarks we get as things escalate and he gets more and more frustrated are absolute gold.

This season is amazing outside of everything involving Connor and Cordy. The alternate version of this season is so much better.
