From the big amount of responses, it was again clear that v12.97 had a bunch of bugs that had to be dealt with. So here is v12.98 that tries to remedy the problems.

Beside the bugfixes, v12.98 also brings the latest Unearthed Arcana material and I re-worked all the inventory functions.

Unfortunately, these files still cause Avast Antivirus to give a false virus warning. I have contacted Avast about this issue and it will probably be a couple of weeks before it is remedied. So please be patient and know that it is out of my hands.

Changelog for MPMB's Character Record Sheet v12.98 (2 May 2017):
• NEW CONTENT: the 23 racial feats from Unearthed Arcana: Feats for Races;
• NEW CONTENT: the 5 updated subclasses from Unearthed Arcana: Revised Subclasses (note that including a newer source always overrides the older sources);
• NEW FEATURE: weapons are now also recognized by their Wuxia names, DMG page 41 (as suggested by Tove L. A.);
• UPDATED FEATURE: re-worked the functions for moving and adding stuff to the gear sections to make them ‘smarter’, faster, and stop them from being a pain-in-the-ass with adding stuff to the wrong stuff;
• NEW FEATURE: gear/tools can now be set per individual line in the equipment section;
• The sheet now also recognizes things regardless of diacritic marks on letter. Thus, if you enter "lóngswôrd", it will still be detected as a longsword, thus improving the support for Wuxia names for weapons when they are written with diacritic marks;
• Addition of “Holy Water” as one of the weapon options;
• Addition of bit and bridle, saddles, and saddlebags to gear options;
• Corrected the Feats for Skills so that they are listed in the skills tooltip;
• Added support for the ‘action’ attribute of feat objects;
• Added the publishing dates to the names of Unearthed Arcana sources;
• Fixed the class selection dialogue not being shown correctly on Mac (thanks Jeff, jsagg27, and erickrause for reporting this and their help with fixing this);
• Fixed a bug that hung the progression bar at "Finalizing the changes of the class(es)...";
• Fixed a bug that asked the user twice whether or not to update the spell sheet;
• Fixed an issue with opening the sheet for the first time and clicking in the class field or on the Class button/bookmark before the welcome dialogue had displayed;
• Fixed some typos;
• Minor fixes for the reset function;
• Fix for the Sentinel Raven feature of the Warlock (Raven Queen) adding Charisma modifier to passive perception twice (thanks Ryan S. for reporting);
• Fixed an issue with the Spell Selection not working with certain feats (thanks Ola K. & Frank G. for reporting).

Unearthed Arcana: Revised Subclasses, the Fighter: Arcane Archer archetype is still coming up as the old version... am I doing something wrong?

You are correct, the sheet doesn't actually do what it advertises as I made a tiny mistake. It doesn't take the newest version of any subclass, it takes the first one it finds (which, ironically, is always the oldest version). I will fix this in the next version of the sheet. Thank you for reporting this bug. To use the Unearthed Arcana: Revised Subclasses version of the Arcane Archer, just make sure you exclude the source that provided the other version of Arcane Archer (2016/12/05 Unearthed Arcana: Fighter Martial Archetypes [UA:FMA]).

It looks like Handaxes are not self-populating on the new version of the sheet anymore...page one, Attacks: Weapons & Cantrips?

Thank you for reporting this bug. With the addition of the Wuxia names for weapons I changed some things around and accidentally made it so that any 'axe' is only recognized when the word 'axe' is separate. I will make sure to correct this in the next version. Thank you for reporting this bug. Until that time, you can use handaxe and battleaxe by writing 'axe' as its own word. For example: "axe, hand", "hand-axe", "hand axe", "axe, battle", etc.

The newer versions (from v12.96 onwards) are once again falsely flagged as containing a virus by Avast anti-virus software (of which AVG for Mac uses the same database). I can assure you that it is 100% virus-free as I wrote all the code myself and it is completely open source. Anybody can read all the code freely and see if it is trying to use any exploits (spoiler: it isn't). When using the spelless ranger beast master at the twentieth level the proficiency added to the companion seems to be 5 not 6 except for the ac is added correctly

Thank you for reporting this issue. Unfortunately, I'm unable to reproduce it. Can you walk me through the steps I have to take from starting with a clean sheet to recreate this problem? Also note that the sheet only applies changes to the proficiency bonus to the modifier fields of the companion page. So if you manually changed those modifiers, or the animal has some inherent modifiers (like the Black Bear and Brown Bear), those are taken into account as well.

What about adding Dragonborn breath attack to the Attacks: Weapons &amp; Cantrips section?

I like this idea! This wasn't possible in older versions of the sheet because the Dragonborn's Breath Weapon has an abnormal level-progression. However, with the advent of the context-aware attack calculations since v12.83, this is now totally possible! You can expect this to be added in the next version :)

Handle isn't filling in Attacks:weapon section. Also any way you can add the disadvantage for stealth for the armors that have it

Fighter (Scout) from Kits of Old needs correcting, it is listing to pick 2 skills instead of 3 per the UA.

Thank you for reporting any errors you find with the sheet. The problem with handaxe is a known issue that will be fixed in the next version of the sheet. Until that time you can make it work by using "Hand Axe", or "Axe, Hand" or any other variation where the word "axe" is not part of a compound word. When you select an armour, it should automatically set disadvantage to stealth, if the armour does so. You can also always manually set disadvantage (which is a modifier field in the Printer Friendly version).
