NEW PERK: NHL Prospect Tableau Visualizations (Patreon)

Now that the NHL draft is in the rearview mirror, I thought it might be fun to integrate all of this new data into a set of interactive visualizations. Using Patrick's new NHL equivalency model, which powers the prospect cards, I've put together a set of three viz available to all subscribers.

Here is the link. Because it's on Tableau, no requests necessary.

The first dashboard, the one seen above, shows every NHL prospect (skater whose draft year was 2016 or later with fewer than 100 NHL GP) measured both by their projected probability of making the NHL and becoming a star player at the highest level.

The second breaks things down by draft. 

You can see each pick in any of the past six entry drafts measured by these two qualities. 

Finally, the third dashboard shows teams' prospect pools as measured by these two qualities. These can also be filtered by draft; for example, the image below filters by the 2021 draft only.

I hope you enjoy this! Contract projection cards are coming tomorrow, and then in the month of August there is a lot of fun stuff coming - a brand new roster builder, historic cards, and I'll be working on a dedicated website for all of the Tableau stuff.
