Behold! The first draft of the Morcster Chef comic, and it’s beautiful. You guys are the only ones who will see it in this form, and the full one won’t be out for a few more weeks.

The only panel that felt out of place was Ming shoveling food into her mouth from the bowl. I am not sure about exactly what it is that bugs me about it, otherwise I think it is a good rough outline to the start of the comic.

I think its because it doesnt look comical and exagerrated enough? The vibe i get from ming is that shes super extra and it looks a bit too refined i guess?

Thanks for the feedback! One of the things we were going for is making the comic’s outward appearance a little gritty and refined (as you worded it), while making the subject light hearted and funny since we thought it would be an amusing contrast. Ming can be childish at times, so she can certainly come across as extra. We don't want that going over the top though, so I'll keep an eye out for that. Thank you! :)

I really like the premise of this comic. I wonder if it'll take a comical or a serious narrative. It has potential for both

Thank you! I'm always really glad to hear people enjoy my story, and I'll pass your kind words along to the artist :) Our goal for the comic is to be a mixture of the two - over the top food cook offs and some funny moments mixed together with dungeoneering and 'standard' fantasy. I want to shoot for the best of both worlds :)
