WELCOME TO THE DAILY DROPS! super excited for you guys to see all of the reactions! Today we're starting off with some Boys planet live stages! I did the live stages where they have an audience. This video is already 2 hours long so yeah didn't want to make it longer than it already was. Had a blast watching these tho! I know I didn't watch the show, but I found myself getting emotional a towards the end for their final live stages. They all worked so hard! Hope you guys enjoy! 🤍

One of my favorites was butterfly in my opinion it was the most underrated stage. For me the most disappointing was Home. All the boys didn’t want to choose that song because of the spin move. But in rehearsal the judges told them to cut it because they couldn’t do it. I say it’s disappointing because the live audience wouldn’t have known why they cut it out so if they were expecting it and it didn’t happen that’s disappointing

1:23:41 that’s Woongki he was apart of to1. Most of his team was extremely nervous this round because they were all at risk of being eliminated. A couple of them felt the sing was too high for them and also some of them weren’t taht great at Korean yet still. Also Woongki ended up having to choreograph the routine also. The silver haired boy was evil edited to make it seem like he didn’t wanna do anything and didn’t wanna learn Korean. But he really was trying his best he was just extremely nervous. They were getting extra help from the judges even up until it was time for them to perform.

The super charger team. A little information. The teams were formed and then about halfway through. They had an elimination. Haruto ended up being the only one left on the team. So he had to go to the other teams and sell him self to try to get people to join his team. The thing is this round was all original songs. So he ended up having to teach everyone the song in just a few days. Everyone was suprised when in the next elimination the entire team didn’t make even Haruto who put in so much work.

The finale was lipsynched. Or at least the not alone stage was. How do we know because there were a couple of boys that were late. No it wasn’t just a backing track because you wouldn’t hear it doubled. Which it’s strange that they’d have them lipsynch in the finale when they sang live literally the entire show.

The guy you pointed out in the G group love me right stage was Jay!. He was actually the closest out of everybody on the show to make it in but not making it! He was tenth place during the finale and as we know the top 9 only debut! There was also a guy named Keita that was in the top 9 everytime except for the finale so he almost made it in as well.

watching this with you is making me emotional, i watched boysplanet ever since it started airing. it was sooo exciting and i got so nervous while waiting for a new ep every week. it was sooo hard seeing friends who didnt get to debut together and all the other boys who worked very hard. there were many tears on the final day but it was a very amazing journey

Also if you are curious who won each round, the K group Back door team won over all, and the 2nd round was separated into 3 different categories so there were 3 winners. THe vocal-rap winner was Tomboy, the rap-dance winner was LAW, and the vocal-dance winner was Love Killa. The third round the Over me team won! A big win considering 4 out of 5 of the members were G group (Not Korean). Also for the 3rd round, they were all original songs for the show specifically. You can listen to them because the boys on the team recorded their song

2023-12-04 00:56:55 I have a lot to say but I will just give you a backstory to the Jelly Pop stage. Matthew was the temporary center/killing part during their practice, voted by the trainees. But the final killing part was decided by views and likes. Matthew and Zhanghao had a traumatic neck-to-neck battle in terms of views and likes, but at the end Zhanghao had more views and likes, so Zhanghao (the top 1) got the killing part. It was so nice to see him do the part as well and he deserves it too, but it was such a shame to not see Matthew do it in the end since he was doing so well during the practice as the killing part, and at the end he was left with 5.6 seconds of the song. Boys Planet was really a great show, talent-wise of the trainees and bond/friendship. There were a lot of friendships built in this show. One notable one was Keita(the rapper in ZOOM and Kill this Love) and Matthew. Those two were best friends in that show and are still in contact. Taking the drama and trauma this show gave to the fans and to the boys, this show was really worth watching.

thank you for appreciating our centre/main vocal zhang hao and wanting to know more about him! he made history as the first non-korean to win an mnet survival show. and his backstory reads like something out of a story. when he was 16, he got into one of the top universities in china to study geosciences, but he ended up turning it down as instead decided to spend the year learning how to play the violin (he had only played for 3 months when he was younger), then applied to study music education at (again) one of the top universities in china - not just did he get in, but he also had the highest score on the entrance exam for the entire province where he's from (fujian, kun from wayv is also from there). he always loved kpop and while at uni started taking dance classes (he has sooo many legendary kpop girl group dance cover videos from predebut floating online), and played violin at weddings as a part time job. then he got an offer from yuehua ent (everglow and tempest's company) while he was applying for his masters degree, and ended up deciding to come to korea where he trained for only 1yr 3 months before going on boys planet - the shortest trainee period of anyone in zb1. he's an incredible performer and vocalist (him and taerae are the group's main vocals), and on top of that is just one of the funniest and most naturally cute idols i've seen in a long time. i know you're not taking requests/recommendations right now, but i'd really recommend checking out some tiktoks or something of him in your own time! he's absolutely hilarious in zb1's variety stuff as well as his own personal lives - his birthday live in particular is so entertaining to watch, if you ever see someone waving around a pink bubble fairy wand at kcon or yelling INTERPOL INTERPOL, that's where that came from. whenever you do start taking recs/recommendations, i'd HIGHLY recommend his lee mujin service. he sang his solo song always, taeyeon's rain, stayc's so bad, and epiphany by jin, and he was so funny and charming and cute and lovely, i don't think i've ever seen lee mujin so flustered by a guest.

Also to your question, Sunghanbin was always 1st place at Boysplanet since eps1-before FINAL. never missed a single first place before Zhanghao got first at the final.

there have been quite a few groups other than ZB1 that have debuted from BP so far: EVNNE ONEPACT Jay Chang (I believe he is also in ONEPACT but he debuted solo before ONEPACT had) TIOT ONLEE (soloist) AMPERS&ONE TOZ Most others returned to their groups/company or decided to stop training. Also you bet I was bawling my eyes out for the entirety of the last episode

the vocalist hitting the adlibs in the first love me right performance his name is Jay Chang he actually recently released a solo debut and is in a new group called onepact. His vocals are amazing definitely one of my fav voices from the show

I followed BP because of Jay(the vocalist in love me right and the ad libs in over me) and Kamden's Rush Hour star level test that got recommended to me. Even though Jay didn't make the final group, he has made a solo debut and has just debuted in ONEPACT with 4 other boys planet contestants. If you get a chance, I highly recommend you check them out as well as the other groups that debuted after BP, though please don't push yourself. More thoughts because this is my first survival show. Zoom was my favorite performance of the show and I'm glad you agree, it's such a shame that they all got eliminated. I can't watch the supercharger performance without being emotional because of how the group was formed, and how despite their best efforts, all of them were eliminated after that round. This show was also super top heavy IMO because by the top 18, even top 26, they could have formed 2 groups and been equally successful. Sorry this is so long, TLDR is that I appreciate that you reacted to these and thank you for the daily drops.

I remember when you dropped your In Bloom reaction and it didn't seem like you were feeling it, which made me teensy bit sad because I am so in love with zb1 and I also love your reactions. So to get all these reactions (2 hours of boys planet !!!) is literally a dream come true for me! I have been a kpop fan for a longggg time and I was really close to growing out of kpop completely until boys planet (zhang hao specifically) grabbed me by the neck and dragged me back in lol. There really was crack put into boys planet and sooo many amazing trainees, so I'm glad you got a taste! Looking forward to your future zb1 reactions and I hope you can see more of their personalities/relationships because they shine just as much off stage as on stage! My personal recs are zbtv, 2d1n, and haobin tingle interview! But honestly I love anything you react to, so do what works for you <3

boys planet was definetly one of the highlights for me this year...like every day I was voting waiting for the next episodes...and even though I didn't ended up stanning the group...like I would consider myself only a casual fan...and thats because out of my top3 only matthew made it...like Jay (vocal guy from love me right, over me, and home) didn't by one spot away...but thats fine now they are on zb1, and onepact and also my top 3 jeonghyeon (rapper from over me and gang) in evnne. But watching this whole thing with you again was so great so happy you reacted to this!

the final ranking and the last episode as a whole was hard to watch. my fav didn't end up making it (keita) but i'm glad he ended up debuting in evnne. i'm also happy that a lot of the trainees ended up debuting after boys planet. i always feel like a proud parents watching her kids lol.

I used to be an nctzen and watched all your videos about nct and love you so much , in last year there was a program called boys planet I said I will watch it for fun and games but in the very first episode I saw a person who played violin and this was a turning point of my live , my ultimate bias for life Zhang hao. It began with oh I like him I want him to debut to I can’t live without this man he is my happiness, and seeing you react to him it’s just gives me so much joy and I feel like a proud mother (though I’m younger than him) , really thank you so much for your time and effort 😂🥺❤️❤️

OHH this makes me wanna watch BP again! My faves were Zhang Hao (P01) and Sung Hanbin (P02). Basically throughout the whole show, these two are undefeatable. Hao has never lost a round (performance-wise), all his teams (Kill This Love G Group, Tomboy, Over Me) were the winning teams of the round, with him being the highest voting trainee in the group. Hanbin was consistently placed as the 1st ranking trainee, in every single elimination round, and almost always got the Killing Part (even got the nickname Sung Killing for it lol). They were the K group and G group centers at the beginning of the show and made it to the end as the K group and G group centers. Hao first placed at P05 and steadily rose during the entire show, staying at P02 until the final, in which he became P01, the first foreign trainee to win an mnet show. We get to see the start of their friendship during the show, esp during the Tomboy era. They were the greatest "rivals" and the greatest soulmates!

Thanks for doing this! I know you are a little apprehensive on stanning zb1, which is understandable in my eyes, I mean look at kep1er, their time is almost up and they debuted at the start of 2022, but thank u for checking out the boys planet performances. The journerys and friendships formed on the show were so great and even though I didn't get my absolute ideal line up in the end, it was such an emotional ride.

2023-12-04 00:56:55 seeing this again, made me really emotional. i watched boys planet when it came out. it was my first surivial show i watched live. i watched girls planet and iland. but that was 1 -2 years after the show was done,so i knew the groups and who makes it. it was fun talking about the episodes when they were airing and hoping who gets in the group. but it was also really hart, when they dont make it. or for a persons not to make it, you really hoped. generell, also in the survival shows that i watched after the aired, but at least i knew who made it, and was not disapointed or too sad. and i didnt try to get to attached to the ones that didnt make it. the growth in the peformances was insane! watching the show was tought. the epiodes were like 3 hours long and watching the trainess cry and getting hard/mean feedback from by the judges and coaches was a lot. but it really made them better and hopefully helped them in the long run.

2023-12-04 00:56:55 also hanbin (the one was also getting lifted in hot summer) and who was always in the front with zhang hao (first place) was always number 1 thought the entire show. zhang hao was always 2. thats why they were so given such a spotlight in most performances. (they were the centers through the show) zhang hao then got 1 place in the finale and hanbin 2. which was crazy for someone to get 1 place who was not korean. i was also sad that hui didnt make it. his vocals are next level and i just feelt bad since he said it was kinda his last chance cause of his age. it was such a big thing that he was in the show at first, then people didnt cared that much about him trought the show.many people didnt like that he was on the show cause of his age (dumb) or cause he was already in a pantagon. tho a couple people were already in groups who were on the show, but sadly in really underated groups, who barely make it. thats why they were in the show. so ofc many know pantagon but cube doesnt care about them (thats why so many members left cube) they get no comebacks or activities. (so annyoing) thats one of the reasons hui was on the show. i would love to see more of him and the group overall

watching this again with you made me feel all the emotions again - they really did work so hard! just a rant but i feel like boysplanet picking aju nice as one of the performances at the very beginning of the show was doing the trainees dirty, because despite it being so iconic, it's so hard to sing, the choreo is tough, and you have to make it look cute/effortless. a lot of them were still so nervous/intimidated that early on in the show (i felt that way when watching their danger stage too, both groups rushed the lyrics), but in general, they did really well given all that (esp G team, since most of them weren't that fluent in Korean). anyway, I'm proud of them! I'm so glad a lot of the ones who didn't make the original debut lineup managed to debut afterwards with the boysplanet members in different groups and that zb1 is doing so well too!

you should totally look into the lyrics of 'limousine'! Its about all of their hardships they faced in boys plant from not getting any screen time, to being hated by fans, to talking about the hardship of being a foreigner having to learn Korean. It makes the performance 10x better when you read them :)

like many have said already, sung hanbin was ranked 1st place from the very beginning. at every elimination stage (done after each battle), hanbin would place 1st and with quite a large gap. zhang hao ranked 5th in the first elimination stage and his popularity began skyrocketing after kill this love (i believe). in the next elimination stage, hao ranked 2nd place. hao would place 2nd every time after that. so imagine the surprise of many when zhang hao ranked 1st and sung hanbin ranked 2nd in the finals. i was yelling and freaking out when it happened. i was super happy as a zhang hao was my pick throughout the show, but it was such a plot twist.

also, for the last stages jelly pop and hot summer, zhang hao and sung hanbin both ranked 1st in views (each of the 18 trainees had a video with them performing in the center/killing part), which earned them the center/killing part of their respective songs. supercharger, switch, en garde, say my name, over me, jelly pop, hot summer, and not alone are all original songs that were made for the boys on the show. they can all be found on spotify and apple music. i had over me and jelly pop in my spotify wrapped top 5 and boys planet was one of my top artists 😭.

i loved watching boys planet. although, i was anxious every week waiting for a new episode to air, especially the elimination rounds. all the trainees were endearing and it was fascinating watching them grow as performers. i thought i could watch the 1st episode of boys planet without getting attached but i was hooked. now, i ult zb1 and support them wholeheartedly. it may not be forever with them but i’ll cherish how happy and warm they make me. i still can’t believe i’ve spent most of this year with these boys and zb1. time flies. anyways, thank you for the reaction!! i can’t wait for the rest of your daily drops :))

This brought me back to memory lane, I miss these guys so much, and I cannot watch that final "here I am" performance without feeling emotional. That was the first song everyone sang at the very beginning when it was like 90 something members. That was live too, I wonder why it didn't make your playlist, but honestly low key, I think that's for the best, because seeing 90 people turn to 13 is crazy sad. But Guys I freaking love Hanbin, not SHanbin, obviously I love him too( ps. Sung Hanbin was placed first place in all the eliminations until the very final, where your favorite center won first place.) But Park Hanbin aka Phanbin guys never fails to make me smile. Caitlin I don't know if you noticed, but those last 3 songs, none of them are fully live, and the camera caught Hanbin missing, what seemed to be his only freaking part in that last song btw, then right after, while smiling on an add lip going "yahhh." It's too freaking funny to me! I Iove him so much. He made that performance less sad for me. He didn't debut in Zerobaseone, but he debuted in Evnne. Idk if you reacted to their debut trouble, or if you got recommended it yet. But a lot of people in boys planet are in that group. Finally a lot of other people on the show are really doing great right now and I'm so proud of them for real. Thank you so much for this reaction!

Honestly as a jongwoo stan(the guy you said you liked back door center) this show was so frustrating because of how people didnt like him because of his visuals(which doesnt make sense because hes gorgeous) i remember during the hot summer stage ending when his ending fairy showed up on the big screen people laughed it still gets me mad just typing about it

Thanks for reacting cait! This show traumatized me (lol) cause there were so many contestants (mostly non Korean) that were evil edited out of the show. Mnet’s main target was Krystian (the guy you said looked like Vernon). I told myself I would never watch another mnet survival show cause gp999 messed me up as well but when I got to know the boys from the first episode, it was so hard to not support them and root for them. And yes a lot of tears were shed in the finale 🥺. My fave Jongwoo (the rapper you liked in the show) didn’t make it cause fans of the show hated his visuals and spread so much unnecessary hate towards him, even Jay (the guy in Over me who can really sing). But im so glad they’re both in the new boy group ONEPACT now. Also the new boy group EVVNE is made up entirely of former bp contestants. Which btw you should totally check out when you have time . I’m sure you’ll recognize a couple faces 😊

When I got the notification that this video dropped I literally started smiling from ear to ear and jumping up and down. Boys Planet was the first and only survival show I will ever watch. The boys on there honestly mean so much to me. I’m sure you’ve seen many people recommending you groups that have come out of boys planet but I really want to recommend ONEPACT who debuted very recently. Jongwoo(the rapper you first saw in Back Door) is the leader and the other members are amazing. Jay(the singer you first saw in Love Me Right) is also in the group. I was so impressed when I first saw their pre debut performance videos. I also recommend EVANNE which is another group of former BP contestants. The members work really well together and I’m excited to see how they continue. I think you would really enjoy these artists and highly recommend there performance videos, MVs and music wether you watch it on or off camera. I would also recommend a compilation of moments from the show if you want to see some of the boy’s personalities as well as their iconic moments. Yeonbin and pandacorniux have good compilation videos. Anyways I’ve been recommending too much stuff even though I know you have a full plate. I’m sorry about that. This video truly made me so so so happy I can’t even explain it. Thank you for all of your hard work!! Make sure to take time for yourself😊🥰❤️💜

This survival program reminds me of the TV I did in 2017. It's Produce 101. Perhaps many implicitly thought that Boyz Planet was a follow-up to Produce 101. Seriously I was voting for him as my one-pick while watching people make shit up about how he was ugly or racist even though those things were disproved so many times + he was clearly one of the trainees that got along with everyone (keita, matthew, dang hong hai, cong, literally everyone) and how everyone stood up to call his name after home performance rankings were revealed. He was such a leader and really born to be a performer and it’s tragic that people can’t support their favs without dragging others down.

Watching Here I Am again made me emotional, lol. It was really fun to watch everything again with you, cause you get to appreciate some things in a different light now that everything is over. Jay, the really good singer, was my number one pick, but I was voting for Jongwoo too, and now they are both in the same group; the did it for me (?). Zhanghao was a favorite of mine too, so I was really happy when he won (I was at work vibrating, when the announcement happened, lol). Boys Planet was stressful, but also really fun, I like most survival shows, tbh. I'm glad you got to experience all the stages, cause there were some really great ones. The really good vocalist, Jay, just debuted in a group called One Pact and released a solo album as well! He debuted along with Jongwoo, Tag, Yedam, and seongmin who were also on BP! The album + music videos were super good, highly recommend!!

Definitely hope you get to a ZB1 guide one of these days and I would love to see reactions to the groups that have debuted from the shows other trainees that didn't make it. Tiot, onepact**, EVNNE*** (this one especially because it's all members from the top 18 so they will be familiar to you for sure), AMPERS&ONE, TOZ. (hope I'm not forgetting any). These shows are annoying when you love members that don't make it, but it does generally provide a great springboard for trainees to be known to the public and build up support from fans for the future in a VERY competitive field.

Unpopular opinion but the artist battle performances are way better than the songs released by zb1. But that’s just me, I havent heard the second album bsides yet. Crush is a tad bit better than in bloom, but nkotb probably my fave, but like over me, say my name, en garde even switch are better. Supercharger is ok. I haven’t heard from onepact and others. Evnne debut was good imo but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. I just love we are getting Keita seungeon, jihoo, hanbin, jeonghyeon, yunseo and junghyun. I need to check their other songs as well. Hao is my one pick glad he got number one and I love taerae and yujin as well. I think what they need is a solid rapper though which evnne hoarded lol.

You really should check out One Pact that just debuted 11-30-23! Jay Chang who placed 10th in Boys Planet is in that group (the singer you really liked from EXO's Love Me Right performance with the growly R&B tone, Seventeen - Home, and who sang the big runs and ad libs in Over Me). Jay actually debuted as a soloist with the mini album Late Night on 10-17-23 (with Rockstar, I'll Be There as official MVs and Up To You is his R&B track you would love) as well who plays guitar and before starting to sing in 2018 was a professional drummer in the US. Also in One Pact is Jongwoo, who gave great face in Back Door, dance break in Home, dancing in Switch, and dance and lower vocals in Hot Summer. Yedam is also in One Pact, who you called out for his dance break in Love Me Right with Hui, and dance skill in LAW.
