WHAT AN EPISODE ! I'm still shocked and impressed by that scene. It was a true GOT scene, even if no one died (during that moment, we needed to wait until the end to have a corpse), because it was the DNA of this universe : people fighting against each other to have the throne. I couldn't hide that I was proud of Aemon stealing that dragon, to gain by himself the honor they always all denied him, but I hated after that how he acted with the other kids. But I blame their parents for that : your kids losing blood and eyes, it's because of your sins and your dormant conflits. I understood everyone's reasons during that moment, mothers defending their sons and Alicent mixing that with her hate for Rhaenyra, but I blame all of them.

The end is more cruel and clearly announces the end of the season. Rhaenyra and Daemon marrying like that, behind the King's back and for being stronger to defend her position as the heir, it's the last piece that she needed to place on the chess game they're all waiting to play when the King would die. All of the plan with killing Rhaenys' son was awful, logical but awful. And their discussion during that moment… They said it, they want to rule, and if they have to use terror and cruelty, they will.
