FINALLY, the big time jump ! I'm gonna miss young Alicent and Rhaenyra but at least we can begin the real stuff now. These first five episodes were almost like a spin-off to introduce the real show and put the foundations of characters and relationships we're now gonna explore more. To understand why almost all of them felt betrayed, have revenge stories still unresolved, and why they're gonna take their future decisions.

Rhaenyra's first scene was a really good parallel with her mother's situation. Deciding to leave at the end seems a little weird for me, I really don't think that during 10 years you ignored that they were all mocking her : they always denied her that position of the true heir, so knowing her sons were bastards, how can be surprised that they don't consider them neither ? Alicent is stronger, but only in words, she was still blocked by the King with her decisions. But Rhaenyra who left, her dad who is gonna come back, the new Littlefinger who helps that much and her husband who is gonna die soon… She might become stronger and stronger with time.
